Wondering if you can get a drink at Magic Kingdom?
Short answer: Yes, but only if you’re willing to work for it.
Long answer: You’ll need a dining reservation, a bit of patience, and an understanding that Magic Kingdom is not EPCOT. It’s not built for bar hopping. It’s built for parades and nostalgia and sweating in line next to bubble wands.
But! If you’re up for a sit-down meal (and maybe a $16 mimosa), alcohol is available inside Magic Kingdom, and soon, you might even be able to get it from a pirate!
Here’s everything you need to know.
Want a full breakdown of where to drink across all four parks? Our Ultimate Guide to Drinking at Disney World has everything.
TL;DR: Can You Drink at Magic Kingdom?
- Yes, but only at table service restaurants, fireworks dessert parties, and at the new Pirate Lounge.
- No walking around with drinks.
- Options include beer, wine, and limited cocktails.
- Dessert parties also include alcohol.
- A pirates-themed lounge is opening soon(ish).
- For actual bar vibes? Hop the monorail.

Coming Soon: The Beak and Barrel (Pirates of the Caribbean-Themed Lounge in Adventureland)
Adventureland is finally getting the watering hole it deserves. The Beak and Barrel is a brand-new pirate tavern set to open near Pirates of the Caribbean, and it already sounds like one of the most immersive bars Disney has ever built (which is saying something in the age of space cantinas).

Here’s the vibe: The place is run by Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn and her feathered first mate, Rummy (yes, like the drink). He’s a squawking animatronic bird who apparently spends his days perched above the bar, hyping up the crowd and leading toasts. Honestly, same.
The tavern itself is split into a few themed areas. There’s The Mess which will be a big, candle-covered, anchor-draped hall with a cursed-shipwreck bar stocked with grogs and brews (and possibly magic rum, courtesy of Tia Dalma). And then there’s The Captains’ Quarters, where the fancier pirates hang out under battle-damaged artwork and enchanted ships in a bottle that may or may not start fighting each other.

No menu yet, but Disney says food and drinks for “pirates of all ages” are coming. Fingers crossed that includes something rum-based that isn’t just a sad pre-mixed daiquiri.
We’ll update this as soon as we have the official drink list, but for now, just know there’s a pirate bar coming to Magic Kingdom, and we’re already planning our first toast.
Where You Can Get Alcohol in Magic Kingdom
If you’re looking for a Magic Kingdom alcohol menu, we can help. We’ve rounded up every spot that serves alcoholic drinks at Magic Kingdom with tips on what to order.
First what you need to know is that alcohol is only served at table service restaurants, which means:
- No walk-up bars
- No sipping while you wander through Fantasyland
- No taking your cocktail to go (Disney’s rules, not ours)
You’ll need to be seated for a full meal, which makes sense, because nothing says “theme park escape” like sipping a mimosa alongside a $78 steak while princesses visit your table. You can totally go solo here too. Full solo Disney guide.
Restaurants at Magic Kingdom That Serve Alcohol:
Ready to see your options of where to get a drink at Magic Kingdom? These are the restaurants that serve alcohol, with our suggestions for the best drinks to try at each one.
Be Our Guest

- Vibe: Moody castle, animated dinnerware, lots of roses
- Drinks: Giant wine list, several beers, and a few cocktails.
- Notable sips:
- French 75 (fancy and fizzy cocktail made with gin and topped with Charles de Fère Reserve Chardonnay Tradition Brut)
- Boulevardier (if you like your whiskey with Campari and regret with a side of Vermouth)
- Kronenbourg 1664 Pale Lager, France (not super unique, but still a good beer option)
- Pro tip: Great if you want to drink in a place that feels like you accidentally joined a gothic dinner party.
Cinderella’s Royal Table

- Vibe: Princesses. Castle. Tiaras everywhere.
- Drinks: Big wine and Champagne selection (including flights), beer, and cocktails.
- Notable sips:
- The Royal Breakfast Flight (mimosa, bellini, sangria (breakfast of royalty)
- Wine & Champagne flights (at lunch and dinner)
- Heineken 0.0 (great non-alcoholic option that isn’t available everywhere – even though we think it should be!)
- Pro tip: Order the flights and channel your inner royal while castle-side dining prices slowly destroy your budget.
The Crystal Palace

- Vibe: Victorian greenhouse, Pooh and friends, and a buffet
- Drinks: Beer, a few wines, cider, and a few cocktails.
- Notable sips:
- Small selection of wine (modest wine list that is definitely smaller than Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s)
- Sunrise Margarita: (tequila, Grand Marnier, and smoked chili bitters)
- Island Fusion Punch: (rum, pog juice, and happiness)
- Pro tip: Book a 10:30 a.m. reservation to hit the crossover between breakfast and lunch buffets, and justify the drink.
Skipper Canteen

- Vibe: Jungle Cruise, but with better food and fewer bad puns.
- Drinks: The best cocktail list in the park + unique wines + craft beer.
- Notable sips:
- Jungle Bird (rum + Campari + pineapple = yes)
- Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale (exclusive to Disney)
- House-made Skipper Sangria (red or white wine blended with Juices, Spices, and Fruit)
- Pro tip: Ask about the secret menu. It’s real. It changes. And yes, it includes cocktails.
Liberty Tree Tavern

- Vibe: Colonial Thanksgiving, year-round
- Drinks: Sam Adams-heavy beer list, cider, wine, cocktails.
- Notable sips:
- Gold Rush (bourbon, lemon, honey, crystallized ginger)
- Ginger Pear Snap (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, + pear and lemon)
- Pro tip: If you’re not drinking, try the Tavern Punch, a non-alcoholic Dole Whip Lemon and Sprite combo that slaps. Also, during busy times of the year, The Diamond Horseshoe (which is right next to Liberty Tree Tavern) may be open, and it shares the same food and drink menu as Liberty Tree Tavern.
Tony’s Town Square

- Vibe: Lady and the Tramp Italian. Patio seating, decent wine list.
- Drinks: Italian wines, beer (hello, Peroni), and three cocktails.
- Notable sips:
- Limoncello Sidecar (bright and boozy)
- Cold Brew Martini (chocolate rum, coffee liqueur, and cold brew)
- Peach Bellini (Prosecco, peach juice + drops of wild raspberry)
- Pro tip: Honestly the food here isn’t that great, but we are always holding out hope that someday it will get better. Fingers crossed.
The Plaza Restaurant

- Vibe: Retro ice cream parlor with surprisingly good cocktails.
- Drinks: Wine, beer, and a few creative drinks.
- Notable sips:
- Cold Brew Martini (everything you need to wake up – rum, coffee liqueur, and cold brew)
- White Sangria (pretty basic, like us)
- Mimosa (yes, with whiskey, because Magic Kingdom said “why not?” )
- Pro tip: The milkshakes aren’t boozy, but you should still get one. Just say it’s for your Instagram.
What Kind of Alcohol Can You Get in Magic Kingdom?
Don’t expect a fully stocked bar. Magic Kingdom keeps things classy (read: limited):
- Beer and cider (some craft, some generic)
- Wine and sparkling wine
- Select specialty cocktails (mostly pre-mixed or low-proof)

You’re not getting an Old Fashioned. You’re not ordering tequila shots. This is Disney’s version of “elevated table dining,” not the Mexico Pavilion.
Can You Walk Around Magic Kingdom With Alcohol?
Nope. You can’t take your drink to-go, and you can’t walk around the park with a beer, cocktail, or glass of wine. Every drink must be ordered, served, and consumed inside the restaurant.
Can You Bring Your Own Alcohol Into the Park?
Also no. Outside alcohol is not allowed in any of the Disney parks, including Magic Kingdom. Security will happily confiscate your flask of Fireball, and no, they will not give it back later.
Special Events Where You Can Drink
Fireworks Dessert Parties
Three types of Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties include unlimited beer, wine, and Champagne:
- Pre-Party: Eat and drink before fireworks, then watch from reserved hub grass.
- Post-Party: Watch fireworks first, then hit the buffet and bar after.
- Seats & Sweets: Sit for both fireworks and food, the priciest option, but the least standing. This is our favorite of the 3 because we like that we can just sit and chill and sip a beer (or 2) while watching the fireworks all after a busy park day.

Reservations open 60 days out and fill fast, especially during busy seasons.
Club 33
In addition to Table Service restaurants, the new Pirate Lounge, and fireworks dessert parties, the ultra-exclusive members-only lounge also serves alcohol, but if you’re reading this post… you’re probably not a member. (Same. It’s fine.)
Pro Tip: The Best Drinks Are Near Magic Kingdom
Let’s be real: if you’re after an actual cocktail, a decent barstool, or anything involving a garnish bigger than a lime wedge, your best bet is to leave the park.
The good news? You’re surrounded by some of the best lounges on Disney property. Hop on the monorail (or a boat if you’re feeling dramatic) and hit up:
- Trader Sam’s at the Polynesian – tiki chaos and rum by the gallon
- Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian – bougie cocktails in a Belle-core fantasy
- Steakhouse 71 Lounge at the Contemporary – solid pours and no small children in tiaras (usually)

You can walk, monorail, or take a boat to all of these. And then head back to Magic Kingdom feeling refreshed, rehydrated (ish), and mildly buzzed.
Want to turn it into a whole experience? We mapped out our full Monorail Bar Crawl, including what to drink, where to go, and what to do when you’re done.
Final Thoughts: Is Drinking at Magic Kingdom Worth It?
Yes, if you already have a reservation at one of the table service restaurants.
No, if you’re looking for a bar or a grab-and-go situation.
Magic Kingdom isn’t trying to be EPCOT, and that’s fine. But if you’re craving a proper drink break, hop on the monorail, take a scenic ride to Trader Sam’s, and toast to your own grown-up Disney day.
And when you’re done, then you can head back for fireworks with a buzz, a pretzel, and a healthy emotional buffer for the mass exit.
