If your houseplants keep dying but you still appreciate a good garden, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is your kind of event. This is when EPCOT goes full botanical with topiaries, fresh seasonal eats, and floral cocktails that are almost too pretty to drink.
Whether you’re here to sip something botanical, hum along to your favorite ’90s band, or just pretend you know the difference between a perennial and an annual, we’ve got you covered.
The 2027 festival runs March 10 to May 31, 2027. Disney announced the dates and a first round of details on September 10, and more is coming. Below we mark what’s confirmed for 2027 and what we’re showing from 2026, so you can plan with the right expectations. We’ll update the page as Disney releases the concert lineup and menus.
EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival: Need-to-Know Details
Before we dive into all the best things to see, eat, do, and drink, here’s what you need to know:
- What is the Flower & Garden Festival? It’s EPCOT in full bloom, with next-level topiaries, colorful gardens, fresh seasonal flavors, and live music at Garden Rocks. Basically, Disney is flexing its horticulture skills while giving you an excuse to sip something botanical.
- Dates: March 10 to May 31, 2027 (confirmed by Disney). That’s about a week shorter than 2026, which ran March 4 to June 1.
- Location: EPCOT, Walt Disney World
- Included with admission? Yes. The festival is included with valid EPCOT admission, and a park reservation may be required depending on your ticket type. Food and drinks cost extra.
- Best days to visit: Weekdays for fewer crowds.

What’s New for the 2027 Flower & Garden Festival
Disney has confirmed the following so far:
- Dates: March 10 to May 31, 2027.
- Topiaries: new topiaries inspired by favorite Disney characters, though Disney hasn’t said which ones.
- Gardens: colorful gardens and floral displays across the park.
- Garden Rocks: returns at America Gardens Theatre with a mix of chart-topping artists and Orlando’s local talent. Dining packages will be offered for guaranteed seating.
- Outdoor Kitchens: returning favorites and new dishes.
- Garden Graze and the CommuniCore Hall exhibit are listed on Disney’s festival page.
- Still to come: the concert lineup, kitchen menus, family activities, and festival merchandise.
A quick look at what was new in 2026, for reference:
- 31 new topiaries, including Lady and the Tramp at the Italy Pavilion, plus Toy Story and Mickey and Friends topiaries.
- New themed gardens, including an English Tea Garden, a Bamboo Garden, and a Tropical Rainforest Garden.

Explore CommuniCore Hall
CommuniCore Hall has been part of the festival since 2025, when guests could explore it during Flower & Garden for the first time. Disney’s 2027 page lists a CommuniCore Hall exhibit again, without details yet.
In 2025 and 2026, the Hall area gave you:
- A behind-the-scenes horticulture exhibit: how Disney creates its floral displays. The 2026 version was called “From Sunlit Blooms to Firefly Glow.”
- Food locations: Florida Fresh and EPCOT Farmers Feast, in CommuniCore Plaza and the Hall.
- Festival merchandise and displays.
Take in the Topiaries
These larger-than-life character topiaries are pure Disney magic, crafted with insane attention to detail and scattered all over EPCOT. Think your houseplants are high maintenance? Disney takes it to a whole new level, turning the park into a living work of art.
Disney has said the 2027 topiaries are inspired by favorite Disney characters and hasn’t listed them yet. Last year, Disney added 31 new topiaries, including Lady and the Tramp at the Italy Pavilion, and Toy Story and Mickey and Friends topiaries. We’ll add a where-to-find-them list once the 2027 lineup is out.
Pro tip: The best time for topiary photos is early in the morning, before the crowds arrive.
Explore EPCOT’s Gardens
Flower & Garden isn’t just about topiaries. You’ll also find small themed gardens all around the park. Disney hasn’t listed the 2027 gardens yet, but these have shown up in past years:
- Butterfly Landing: a lush, butterfly-filled greenhouse near The Land Pavilion. (And yes, butterflies may land on you!)
- Shakespeare Garden: a small but charming garden in the UK Pavilion with plants from Shakespeare’s works.
- Blossoms of Fragrance: a garden of floral scents, brought to you by Scentsy, because nothing says “Disney magic” like a corporate-sponsored whiff of air freshener.
- Themed gardens in 2026: an English Tea Garden, a Bamboo Garden, and a Tropical Rainforest Garden.
Some gardens are tucked away in quiet corners, and that makes stumbling across them even better.
Garden Rocks Concerts: The Perfect Excuse to Relive Your ’90s Phase
Garden Rocks is where you get to pretend you still know all the words to that one song from 1998. Expect plenty of “Oh, I love this song!” moments.
Disney has confirmed that Garden Rocks returns in 2027 at America Gardens Theatre, with a mix of chart-topping artists and Orlando’s local talent. The lineup hasn’t been announced.
How it worked in 2026:
- Shows were at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 p.m.
- The concerts were included with park admission, with first come, first served seating.
- Dining packages with guaranteed seating opened February 5, about four weeks before the festival started.
For a front-row spot, book a Garden Rocks Dining Package to secure reserved seating. Otherwise, show up 30 to 45 minutes early and grab a drink while you wait.

Outdoor Kitchens: AKA Disney’s Excuse to Give You Floral Cocktails
Disney’s Outdoor Kitchens at Flower & Garden are where chefs lean into their botanical side. Expect citrusy cocktails, floral-infused drinks, and farm-fresh bites that make you feel healthy, even if you’re pairing them with a frozen margarita from Mexico.
Disney says the 2027 Outdoor Kitchens will have returning favorites and new dishes. Menus haven’t been announced. For a sense of what to expect, in 2026 there were over 20 kitchens and more than 75 new menu items.
Must-try:
- Florida Fresh: If you’re interested in fresh treats that feature the Sunshine State, this one is a must-try.
- EPCOT Farmers Feast: A rotating menu of unique dishes with farm-grown ingredients. Dishes are consistently good, and you get lots of chances to try new items as the menu changes.
- La Isla Fresca: A colorful, Caribbean-inspired booth with beautifully seasoned bites and refreshing, bright cocktails.

Garden Graze: EPCOT’s Most Justifiable Excuse to Eat More
Like a scavenger hunt, but for food, the Garden Graze lets you collect stamps in your Festival Passport for trying select plant-based or garden-fresh dishes.
This is basically EPCOT’s way of saying, “Eat more, and we’ll reward you.” You get a stamp for every designated Garden Graze dish you try, and once you’ve collected enough, you get a “free” prize. (Yes, “free” in Disney terms.)
So, is it worth it? Past prizes have included things like a refreshing Dole Whip in a souvenir cup. It’s not exactly life-changing, but it’s still a fun way to try new foods and feel like you earned that dessert. (As if we needed an excuse.)
Disney lists Garden Graze on its 2027 festival page but hasn’t posted the dish list yet. We’ll update this section when it does.
Spike’s PollenNation Exploration: The Adult’s Version
Officially, this is a scavenger hunt for kids. Unofficially, it’s a fantastic excuse to sip a drink in every country while casually looking for Spike the Bee. (Trust us, after a few drinks, this becomes way more entertaining.)
In 2026, you bought a map at World Showcase merchandise locations (while supplies lasted), found Spike hiding in different gardens around EPCOT, and redeemed the map for a prize. There was also a separate Easter hunt called Egg-Stravaganza.
Will you get competitive about it? Probably.
Disney hasn’t posted the 2027 version yet.
Festival Merchandise
Disney says festival merchandise for 2027 is still to come, along with the menus and family activities. We’ll update this section when it’s announced.
Pro tip: Don’t spend all your money on merchandise, or you won’t have anything left to Drink Around the World.
Spaceship Earth’s Festival Light Show
Every EPCOT festival includes a special Spaceship Earth lighting sequence.
In 2026, the festival show used Encanto music. In 2024, we saw an Encanto-themed show (we still talk about Bruno, Disney, we really do) and a Pocahontas-themed show (yes, “Colors of the Wind” will make you emotional). Disney hasn’t announced the 2027 shows.
The sequences run on rotation after sunset, so stop by in the evening.
