If you’re into art, Broadway, or cocktails that look too pretty to drink, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts is your kind of festival. It’s easily the most visually striking event at EPCOT, packed with live performances, hands-on experiences, and food that’s basically edible art.
Whether you’re here to sip colorful drinks, belt out Disney Broadway hits in public (no judgment), or pretend you understand modern art, we’ve got you covered.
Here’s how to do the Festival of the Arts like a pro. And yes, we’ve linked the full food booth guide, because priorities.
The 2027 festival runs January 15 to March 1, 2027, about a week longer than the 2026 run (January 16 to February 23). Disney announced the dates and a first round of details on September 10, and the rest is still coming. Throughout this guide we mark what Disney has confirmed for 2027 and what we’re showing from 2026 so you can plan around it. We’ll update the page as the booths, Broadway lineup, and artists are announced.
EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Need-to-Know Details
Before we get into what to see, eat, and do, here are the basics:
- What is it? A festival celebrating Visual Arts (paintings, sculptures, interactive murals), Performing Arts (Broadway shows, live musicians, and artists creating magic in real time), and Culinary Arts (because food is art, and this festival proves it).
- Dates: January 15 to March 1, 2027 (confirmed by Disney)
- Location: EPCOT, Walt Disney World
- Presenting sponsor: Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game
- Included with admission: Yes. The festival is included with valid EPCOT admission, and a park reservation may be required depending on your ticket type. Food, drinks, and special experiences cost extra.
- Best days to visit: Weekdays for fewer crowds.

What Disney Has Announced for 2027 So Far
Here’s what’s confirmed as of late September 2026:
- Dates: January 15 to March 1, 2027.
- Presenting sponsor: Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, with Lorcana promo items, gifts with purchase, and festival merchandise.
- Disney on Broadway Concert Series: returns at America Gardens Theatre, with shows several times each evening.
- Hands-on art: Animation Academy, the Expression Section paint-by-number mural, and Chalk Art Galleries.
- Artful photo ops around the park.
- Music: daily music at CommuniCore Plaza.
Still to come: the Food Studio booths, menus, and prices; the Broadway lineup and dining packages; the artist schedule. Disney says offerings are subject to change in 2027, so treat any 2026 detail below as a guide to the kind of thing you’ll find, not a promise.
Wander Through the Artful Photo Ops
Disney loves a good photo op, and the Festival of the Arts delivers with giant, interactive paintings you can step inside. Want to recreate a famous painting because someone spilled their beer on you? Now’s your chance.
Look for special photo opportunities like these around World Showcase, on the bridge into World Showcase, and along the walkways. Disney has confirmed artful photo ops for 2027 but hasn’t listed them yet, so check the Festival Passport for the map when you arrive.
Take On the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine
If you love a good festival challenge (and who doesn’t?), the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is an art-inspired food stroll, and it’s a festival favorite. In 2026, you collected five stamps in your Festival Passport by trying designated dishes, then redeemed a “free” (okay, “free”) treat at Deco Delights. Grab your passport when you arrive to see this year’s dishes.
It’s basically a color-themed excuse to eat more dessert, so of course we’re in.
Check Out the Interactive Art Experiences
This isn’t just about staring at art. You get to create it. The festival has workshops and interactive art projects where you can get your hands a little dirty (metaphorically, unless you go overboard with the paint).
- Expression Section paint-by-number mural: a giant, community-created mural where you help finish the art. In 2026 it ran from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
- Animation Academy: learn to draw Disney characters from Disney artists. In 2026 it ran daily at 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. in America Gardens Theatre.
- Chalk Art Galleries: 2D and 3D chalk art along the walkways, and a kids’ chalk area near Imagination! in 2026.
- Music at CommuniCore Plaza: Disney has confirmed daily music there for 2027. Past festivals have also put live artists at CommuniCore Plaza on select days. Disney hasn’t posted a 2027 schedule for those yet.
Daily times shift from year to year, so check the Festival Passport or the My Disney Experience app for 2027 times.
Disney Lorcana at the Festival
Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game is the presenting sponsor in 2027, which Disney says comes with Lorcana promo items, gifts with purchase, and exclusive festival merchandise. Disney hasn’t spelled out the 2027 activities yet.
In 2026, the Lorcana lineup included a Collection Quest at Illumineer’s Lounge in Morocco, an Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, and an artful photo op. We’d expect something along those lines, but we’ll update this section when Disney publishes the details.
Eat and Drink Your Way Through the Festival
The food booths (called Food Studios) offer some of the most beautifully plated dishes of any EPCOT festival. The drinks are often just as colorful as the art.
Disney hasn’t announced the 2027 booths or menus, and says offerings are subject to change. Here are the booths we’d look for, based on the 2026 menu:
- Figment’s Inspiration Station: If you’re here for bright, colorful festival treats, this is your spot. In 2026 it had the Figment Fantasy Cake ($5.79), the Color Scheme Cake ($5.29), a Figment Artist Bucket with Rainbow Popcorn ($29), and a hard cider flight ($12.75).
- The Deconstructed Dish: Deconstructed takes on familiar foods, like a broken-down BLT ($7.29 in 2026), make you feel like you’re on Top Chef.
- Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina: A Latin-inspired booth. In 2026 it had a Chorizo and Potato Empanada ($6.79) and the Collective Arts Guava Dream Blonde Ale ($6 for 6 oz).
Those prices come from the published 2026 menus. Most 2026 food prices sat within pennies of 2025, so they’re a fair guide, but not a promise for 2027.
Watch an Artist Create Magic in Real Time
Disney invites working artists to paint, sketch, and sculpt during the festival. You can watch them work, chat with them, and even take home a piece (assuming you haven’t already spent all your money on cocktails). In the past, you’ve found artists around the Festival Marketplaces.
Disney says the 2027 artist names, dates, and locations will be posted later. We’ll add the schedule here when it appears.
See a Broadway Performance, Yes, at Disney World
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series returns in 2027 at America Gardens Theatre, with shows several times each evening. Disney hasn’t announced the lineup or the show times yet.
Here’s how it worked in 2026, which is a good guide:
- Showtimes: 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 p.m. nightly at America Gardens Theatre.
- Cost: included with park admission, first come, first served.
- Dining packages: a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant plus a guaranteed seat (see Disney’s Broadway Concert Series dining package page). Packages opened for booking on December 17, 2025, and ran roughly $36 to $99 per adult and $21 to $49 per child (ages 3 to 9).
- 2026 performers included Isabelle McCalla, Adam Jacobs, Sierra Boggess, Mandy Gonzalez, Kissy Simmons, Ashley Brown, Susan Egan, and James Monroe Iglehart.
Do you need the dining package? Probably not. We’ve never had problems snagging seats without it. If you want to guarantee a good seat, though, that’s what it’s for.
Shop for Festival-Exclusive Merchandise
Even if you don’t want to drop cash on fine art, the festival merch is chef’s kiss. Disney has confirmed exclusive festival merchandise for 2027, with Lorcana items in the mix. In past years, spirit jerseys, mugs, and prints go fast, so grab what you want early.
Top pick: The Figment popcorn bucket is always a hot ticket, because Disney knows we’ll wait in line for cute, overpriced plastic. In 2026 it was the Figment Artist Bucket with Rainbow Popcorn at Figment’s Inspiration Station, for $29.
Hunt for Hidden Art with the Figment Scavenger Hunt
Even though this is technically for kids, it’s basically just an excuse to Drink Around the World while solving an art-based treasure hunt. Doesn’t that sound like a blast?
How it worked in 2026 (Figment’s Brush with the Masters):
- Buy a map for $9.99 plus tax at shops and festival merchandise booths around the park.
- Find hidden Figment paintings across World Showcase.
- Redeem your completed map for a prize.
Bonus: grab a drink in each country as a reward for finding Figment.
Bonus hunt: Chalk Full of Characters. In 2026, hidden Disney character chalk art was tucked into corners and alleyways around World Showcase. It’s a fun little extra if you’re already wandering.
Disney hasn’t posted the 2027 version, so we’ll update the price and details when it does.
Watch Spaceship Earth’s Light Show
After the sun sets, Spaceship Earth turns into an art piece of its own. In 2025, it ran a couple of Festival of the Arts light shows: a Figment-themed show with the voices of Figment and Dreamfinder from the original Journey Into Imagination, and a Muppets’ Rainbow Connection show. Disney hasn’t said what’s on for 2027.
We think it’s the perfect end to an artsy day, or at least the perfect place to pause before grabbing another drink.
When to Expect the Rest of the Details
Here’s how the 2026 festival unrolled, which is a rough guide for 2027:
- Early November 2025: the Broadway lineup was announced.
- December 17, 2025: Broadway dining packages opened for booking.
- January 7, 2026: Disney posted the Food Studio menus, about nine days before the festival began on January 16.
For 2027, which starts January 15, that would put the Broadway lineup around early November 2026 and the menus in early January 2027.
