In this post, we’re going to cover everything you need to know about the BEST bars in EPCOT. We’ll tell where they’re located, why we love them, and give you some of our top recommendations from each.
So, if kicking back with a cocktail or beer while soaking in the magic of Walt Disney World sounds like your kind of thing, you’re in the right place. We’ve got everything you’ll need to know about the top lounges and bars in EPCOT. Let’s dive in!
Note 1: When deciding which bars and lounges to include, we focused on spots that were more than just a counter or festival booth. All the bars below offer more than just a couple of different drink options, and aside from our Bonus Bar at the bottom, they don’t require reservations.
Note 2: A indicates it is one of our favorites.
NEW! Spaceship Earth Inspired Lounge (Opening in 2025)
Announced at the D23 Expo in August 2024, a brand NEW lounge is coming to EPCOT. It will be themed after Spaceship Earth (one of our most favorite attractions!) and be a “zen space to gather and enjoy refreshments.“
We don’t have any specific opening dates yet, but Disney has said that it will open up in 2025. Looking at the concept art, it does appear that in addition to a full bar and lots of spots to lounge, this space will also have views of fireworks.
Can’t wait to see it in person!
La Cava del Tequila (Mexico Pavilion)
First up on our tour of the bars in EPCOT is one our favorites – La Cava del Tequila.
La Cava del Tequila Top Drink Picks:
- Avocado Margarita, average price $18.00
- Unique combination of flavors. It is a bit heavier than a “regular” margarita and has a silky and creamy texture.
- Blood Orange Margarita, average price $18.00
- Bold and unique flavor combination. Fresh and zesty citrus notes from the blood orange with a Tajín chile-lime powder rim.
- Tequila shots, average price varies depending on selection
Located in the Mexico Pavilion, you’ll find La Cava inside the giant pyramid. Go down the ramp to the main floor and it will be on the right side.
You’ll have the option to get your drinks to go here (faster option) OR you can wait for a table (takes a bit longer). Just tell the hostess when you get to the front of the line which is your preference.
The interior is small, but we have always found the wait for one of the few tables here to be well worth it. The dim lighting and rustic decor create an intimate atmosphere, which is honestly kind of perfect if you’ve been outside battling the heat or crowds (or both).
What’s on the menu?
As you can imagine, this bar serves lots and lots of margaritas. BUT, you can also get a couple of different varieties of beer and sangria inside, too. Or, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, there are flights or shots available.
If you’re feeling hangry, you can choose from a variety of tasty options: chips and guacamole, chips and salsa, or chips and queso. But if you’re like us and can’t decide, go for the Trio Combo. which is a big basket of chips with all 3 – guacamole, salsa, AND queso.
Signature drinks here include the Avocado Margarita (one of our top picks in all of EPCOT) and the Blood Orange Margarita. If you aren’t sure what to order, you can’t go wrong with either of those. Also, keep your eye out for seasonal offerings – many of those are delicious and worth a try, too.
Rose & Crown Pub (United Kingdom Pavilion)
Next up is our other favorite – the Rose & Crown Pub.
Top Drink Picks:
- Pub Blends, average price $11.25
- Unique beer combinations, including popular mixes like the Black Velvet (half cider and half Guinness Stout), Golden (Half Harp Lager and Half Bombardier Amber) and Snake Bite (half cider, half Harp Lager).
- Whiskey Flight, average price $23.00
- 4 flights to choose from: Irish Whiskey Flight (Tullamore Dew, Jameson, and Bushmills), Single Malt Flight (Glenkinchie, Oban, Lagavulin), Johnnie Walker Flight (Black, Gold, 18 yr), The Macallan Flight (12yr, 15 yr, and 18 yr)
- Imperial Sampler, average price $14.75
- Flight of Bombardier Amber, Harp Lager, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, and Guinness Stout
Located in the United Kingdom Pavilion, this spot feels like you’ve just magically crossed the pond into an authentic British pub. You’ll find the Rose & Crown located right along the pathway near the World Showcase Lagoon – you can’t miss it.
This is an extremely popular spot, so it isn’t unusual for the guests to be 2-3 people deep at the bar. But the bartenders here work VERY fast, so don’t be intimidated if you see a crowd.
After you get your drink, there are a couple of tables inside (both standing and ones with chairs/benches). Plus, during the day (until about 3 p.m.) you can take your beer and sit at one of the tables on the restaurant side. You may even luck out and get serenaded with live music, too. This is a great option if you’re looking to stay in the air conditioning.
There is also a beer garden with tables and chairs located outside under the trees along the water. That’s our favorite place to sit and sip because we love us some people watching. Lots of people think it is part of the restaurant, but it isn’t and anyone can sit there.
What’s on the menu?
As you’d expect, this pub serves a wide array of beers, ciders, and ales, many of which are imported directly from the UK. They are famous for their blends – and if you are looking for something with a bit more of a punch, we recommend the whiskey flights or one of the cocktails.
The one downside to the Rose & Crown Pub is that there aren’t any snacks available here. But, don’t get TOO sad because you can easily mobile order some fish and chips from next door at Yorkshire County Fish Shop and then take your drinks and grub to the neighboring beer garden to sit under the trees and relax. The fish and chips is large enough to share, leaving more room for a second round of beers. #protip
If you’re looking for something more than a snack, you can also make a reservation for the main Rose & Crown Restaurant. It is attached to the pub and serves full meals, including Bangers and Mash, Shepard’s Pie, and Fish and Chips. The restaurant has access to the Pub menu, so you can get the same drinks while you dine.
Signature drinks here include any of the Pub Blends. They are popular for a reason. We like the Half and Half (Half Harp Lager and Half Guinness Stout) and the Golden Fox Imperial Pint (Half Old Speckled Hen Pale Ale and Half Bombardier Amber), but they have 10 different blends you can choose from so there’s something for all tastes.
If beer isn’t your thing, the cocktails at Rose and Crown are also a great option, too. While we haven’t tried them all (yet), what we have tried we enjoyed. We especially like the Leaping Leprechaun (Jameson Irish Whiskey, Don Q Cristal Rum, SVEDKA Vodka, Melon Liqueur, and Sweet-and-Sour topped with Sprite) because we are suckers for drinks that are fun colors. Please don’t judge.
Spice Road Table Bar (Morocco Pavilion)
Next on our tour of the bars in EPCOT is a (kind of) hidden gem – the Spice Road Table Bar.
Top Drink Picks:
- Pomegranate, Hibiscus, or Blood Orange Mimosa, average price $14.00
- A sparkling cocktail made with champagne and either pomegranate juice, hibiscus flavor, or blood orange juice.
- Iced Mint Tea, average price $15.00
- Refreshing beverage combining mint tea and Bombay Sapphire Gin.
- Sahara Spritz, average price $14.00
- Refreshing cocktail made with Ketel One Botanical Cucumber and Mint Vodka, soda water, and lime.
Located in the Morocco Pavilion, you’ll find Spice Road Table right on the waterfront of the World Showcase Lagoon.
The restaurant at this location is known for its tapas-style small plate menu and Mediterranean-inspired drinks – and if you are looking to actually sit down and drink and snack, it is often pretty easy to get a reservation or walk-up spot here.
Not looking to hang around? The bar is right inside the door and is grab and go. The waits aren’t typically long at all, either, which is nice when you’re trying to keep moving.
What’s on the menu?
The bar here boasts an impressive selection of Mediterranean wines, beers, and cocktails. You’ll find unique concoctions like the Medina Mixer, which combines Starr African Rum, Van der Hum Tangerine Liqueur, and Cranberry Juice, or the signature Sahara Spritz, a refreshing combo of Ketel One Botanical Cucumber and Mint Vodka, Soda Water, and Lime.
There’s also Iced Mint Tea (delicious), sangria (refreshing), and several different varieties of mimosas (our favorite is the Pomegranate).
If hunger strikes, the small plates here are perfect for sharing. Favorites include the Hummus Fries, Spicy Garlic Shrimp, and the Grilled Lamb Kefta. Or do what we do and get all 3 and the dessert platter.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse Outdoor Bar (American Adventure)
Next stop, the Regal Eagle Smokehouse Outdoor Bar!
Top Drink Picks:
- Frozen Mint Julep, average price $15.00
- A slushy version of the classic Southern cocktail, made with Jim Beam bourbon, citrus, and mint.
- Tennessee Lemonade, average price $16.00
- A refreshing blend of whiskey, lemonade, and peach.
- Moonshine Sour, average price $14.00
- Frozen lemonade spiked with Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine, blood orange, blackberry, and lemon
- American Craft Beer and Ciders, average price $9.25
- A selection of American Craft beer is always available here, including popular beers like the Spoetzl Shiner Ruby Redbird Grapefruit Lager, Samuel Adams Lager, Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Hard Cider, Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider
Located in the American Adventure Pavilion, the Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar has a decent selection of American craft beers, ciders, cocktails, and wines. You’ll find it just outside the main Regal Eagle Smokehouse restaurant, and although the line for this spot is almost entirely in the hot, baking, sun (which is our least favorite thing about stopping here), there are plenty of spots nearby where you can sit under an umbrella or awning.
This outdoor bar doesn’t serve food, but you can always pop into the Regal Eagle restaurant to grab a delicious BBQ snack to complement your drink. As an added bonus, you can Mobile Order your food, too, which is what we typically do. Then we take our drinks inside the restaurant where we can sit and eat and drink in the air conditioning.
One of the highlights of this area is the closeness to the American Gardens Theatre, which is where Disney puts on concerts throughout the festivals. If you are lucky (or just good at planning), you can time your stop here to coincide with a concert so you can listen to great music while enjoying your drink.
What’s on the menu?
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse Outdoor Bar specializes in craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. The beer selection features a variety of American brews, from lagers to IPAs, ensuring there’s something for every beer enthusiast. They also offer several delightful cocktails, like the Tennessee Lemonade, which is a refreshing mix of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, lemonade, and peach. It’s super refreshing and perfect for cooling down.
If you’re a fan of classic cocktails, try the Frozen Mint Julep, a slushy take on the traditional Southern favorite, or the Texas Mule, a blend of Tito’s homemade vodka, lime, and Fever Tree ginger beer.
If you find yourself needing a snack, the onion rings at Regal Eagle Smokehouse are an excellent choice. As are the kids meals. Don’t knock them until you try them – they really are tasty, and we prefer a smaller portion size since we’re typically trying things from multiple pavilions when we Drink Around the World at EPCOT.
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar (Italy Pavilion)
Last up, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar.
Top Drink Picks:
- Wine Flights, average price $24.00
- Tutto Gusto offers a selection of wine flights, allowing you to sample different Italian wines. Popular flights include the Under a Tuscan Sun Flight, From the Hills of Piemonte, and Crisp Italian Whites Flight.
- Espresso Martini, average price $18.00
- A delicious blend of vanilla vodka, fresh-brewed Italian espresso, and coffee liqueur. It’s shaken with ice and served garnished with a few coffee beans on top.
Located in the Italy Pavilion, Tutto Gusto is a cozy Italian wine bar. You’ll find it right next to Tutto Italia Ristorante, and stepping inside feels like entering an old-world wine cellar. It’s dark, cozy, and cool inside – three things that we are typically looking for on a hot day.
There are lots of tables (well, lots for an EPCOT bar/lounge) inside, but you can also get your drinks to go. This spot can be pretty popular, though, and since they serve snacks, people do tend to linger a bit.
What’s on the menu?
Tutto Gusto offers over 200 Italian wines, from bold reds to crisp whites and sparkling options. Whether you’re a wine expert or just enjoy a good glass, there’s something for everyone. They also serve Italian cocktails, beers, and spirits.
For food, they’ve got a range of delicious Italian small plates. Think artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and bites like Polpette Parmigiana (baked meatballs) and Calamari Fritti. While the bar itself doesn’t serve full meals, these snacks are on the heartier side.
Of course, with so many wines that is a popular choice when it comes to what to order (the staff is super knowledgeable and can help you pick the perfect wine pairing), but don’t sleep on the cocktails here – especially the Espresso Martini.
We don’t know if they add extra magic OR if it is because we’ve typically had a drink or 2 from other pavilions before we stop here, but we always love, love, love the Espresso Martini. Unlike our exes, it has never let us down.
If you’re trying to lay off the caffeine, for something refreshing try the Aperol Spritz, made with Prosecco, Aperol, and mineral water.
Bonus Bar – Space 220 Lounge (World Discovery)
There is another bar at EPCOT that deserves a mention – the Space 220 Lounge.
The difference between this bar and the ones listed above is that the Space 220 Lounge requires a reservation. Well, it USUALLY requires a reservation. Sometimes you can get lucky and they’ll have walk-up spots available, but in general, if you REALLY want to grab a drink here, you’ll want to make reservations right at 60 days out.
The entire restaurant is a fun (but expensive) experience, but the nice thing about the lounge is that it allows you to order small plate items separately and NOT the entire prix fixe meal option that you’ll find in the full restaurant.
There are both seats at the bar (which puts your back to the cool view) and tables. We recommend asking for one of the tables (if available) since you’ll have a much better view from one of those.
This isn’t a grab and go kind of place. The best part about Space 220 Lounge is the atmosphere. With digital views of Earth from the space station windows and sleek, futuristic decor, it really feels like you’re in orbit. It’s a great spot to escape the crowds and sip on something delicious.
What’s on the menu?
The drinks here are all space-inspired and include all the trappings of a craft cocktail, including fun garnishes like freeze dried sweets, Pop Rocks, etc.
If you want something sweet, the Illumination (Bacardi, Malibu, Passion Fruit, Blood Orange, Pineapple, Lime Sour, Passion Fruit Boba) is a good option. We also really like the Up All Night (Absolute Vanilla, Chilled Espresso, Kahlúa, Crème de Cacao).
If sugary drinks aren’t your thing, there is also a selection of wines and beers, too.
While the lounge is all about the drinks, they also have some light bites from their Flight Bites menu. You can snack on things like Starry Calamari, Astro Deviled Eggs, and Short Rib Sliders. Perfect for pairing with your drinks.
