Underrated EPCOT Drinks: The Hidden Gems You’ve Been Missing

2 drinks at space 220

Look, we love a La Cava margarita as much as the next person, but if that’s all you’re drinking, you’re missing out.

EPCOT has some wildly underrated drinks that don’t get nearly enough love. Some of them are tucked away in lounges that people walk past without even noticing. Others? They’re sitting in plain sight, but nobody orders them because they’re too distracted by the usual suspects. We’ve tested (and re-tested) all of them, and this is where you’ll find EPCOT’s most underrated drinks.

Planning to drink around the world at EPCOT? Don’t miss our Ultimate Guide to Drinking Around the World and our Complete Guide to Drinking in Disney World for expert strategies, crowd tips, and best bars.

Hidden Lounges & Bars You’ll Walk Right Past

EPCOT has some seriously underrated drinking spots that most guests walk right past. If you want to take a break from the crowds (or just feel like you’ve unlocked a Disney secret), these hidden bars and lounges are worth checking out.

Want the full rundown of EPCOT’s best bars? Check out our guide to the Best Bars in EPCOT for even more great spots to grab a drink!

Spice Road Table Bar (Morocco)

One of the best walk-up bars in EPCOT. We’ve sometimes run into a line, but it moves fast.

  • Why Most People Skip It: It’s inside Spice Road Table, and people don’t realize you can just grab a drink at the bar. The first time I hit Spice Road Table’s bar, I made the “rookie” mistake of ordering some random wine while my friend grabbed a Sahara Spritz. I regretted my choice, she did not.
  • Hidden Gem Drink: Sahara Spritz – A light, citrusy, slightly herbal drink that’s like an Aperol Spritz but way more refreshing.

Mitsukoshi Sake Bar (Japan)

Hidden at the back of the giant Japan store, this tiny counter serves sake and beer that you won’t find anywhere else in EPCOT. This is a great spot to spend a little extra time. We like to wander the store to cool off before grabbing a drink.

  • Why Most People Skip It: It’s literally inside a store.
  • Hidden Gem Drink: Seasonal Sake Flight – A rotating selection of unique sakes, perfect for when you need a break from margaritas.

Les Vins de France (France – Inside the Wine Shop)

EPCOT’s secret Champagne Bar – hidden inside a shop in the France Pavilion.

  • Why Most People Skip It: It looks like just a store, but there’s a small counter in the back where you can order.
  • Hidden Gem Drink: Dom Pérignon by the Glass – One of the only places in Disney where you can order a single pour of legit Dom instead of dropping $$$ on a bottle. We’re not saying you should, but it sure is nice to have options!
  • Bonus Tip: If Dom P. is too pricey, grab the Champagne Flight—you get three 2oz pours of French bubbly.

Space 220 Lounge (World Discovery)

Space 220 Lounge is one of those places that sounds like a hassle to book, but we’ve actually lucked into a walk-up spot several times before. If you’re committed, book it at 60 days out. If not, swing by and ask about the walk-up list. The worst they can say is no.

  • Why Most People Skip It: You need a reservation, and it books fast (60 days in advance).
  • Hidden Gem Drink: Up All Night – An espresso martini with astronaut ice cream. If you need a pick-me-up before hitting Test Track, this is it.

Unexpected Frozen Drinks You Need to Try

Because sometimes, Florida is hotter than the surface of the sun, and a frozen drink is the only thing standing between you and a meltdown (literally).

Here are the cold, boozy lifesavers you’ll want to grab while strolling through EPCOT:

Frozen Citrus Pomegranate Slushy (Morocco Pavilion, Oasis Sweets & Sips) – $16.50

  • Tangy, Tart, and Refreshing – Lemonade and pomegranate with Absolut Mandrin vodka for a crisp, citrusy kick.
  • The Most Underrated Frozen Drink in EPCOT – Everyone talks about the Mint Tea, but this one deserves just as much love.

Frozen Mint Tea (Morocco, Oasis Sweets & Sips) – $16.00

  • The Drink That Saves Lives – When the Florida sun (and tequila) start winning, this minty, lightly sweet, ultra-refreshing slush brings you back to life.
  • Pairs Well With Regret – Ideal for cooling down after making bold choices in Mexico.

Italian Margarita (Italy, Gelateria Toscana) – $12.00

  • Limoncello + Tequila = Chef’s Kiss – The Italian Margarita is what happens when a limoncello and a classic margarita fall in love. It’s got the citrusy kick of a good marg but with that smooth, slightly sweet finish that makes limoncello so dangerous.
  • Secret MVP – If you’re a margarita fan but want something a little more sophisticated, this is your move.

Sake Slushie (Japan, Kabuki Café) – $13.00

  • Like a Boozy Snow Cone – Available in Blood Orange, Coconut Pineapple, or Blackberry, so you can pick your personality.
  • Surprisingly Strong – I’ll be honest—I didn’t expect to love this one as much as I did. It’s basically a boozy snow cone, and the Blood Orange version is chef’s kiss. But don’t let the cute colors fool you—this thing is sneaky strong.

Frosé (France, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie) – $15.75

  • Rosé All Day, But Frozen – A blend of rosé, vodka, and peach, aka the EPCOT drink of your Instagram dreams.
  • Pairs Well with a Baguette – Because nothing says ‘drinking at Disney’ like holding a frozen wine slush in one hand and a full loaf of bread in the other.

Ice Cream Martini (France, L’Artisan des Glaces) – $14.95

  • The Ultimate Dessert Cocktail – Pick two scoops of ice cream and let them drown in Grand Marnier, rum, or whipped cream vodka.
  • High Risk, High Reward – If this melts too fast, you’re drinking a milkshake. If you time it right? Absolute bliss.

Red Stag Frozen Lemonade (American Adventure, Fife & Drum) – $15.00

  • Bourbon Meets Lemonade – A slushy, sweet blend of Jim Beam Red Stag Bourbon and frozen lemonade that goes down way too easily.
  • Like a Boozy Lemonade Stand – It tastes like summer in a cup—except now, instead of riding bikes, you’re power-walking to the next pavilion.

Pro Tip: Frozen drinks are great for pacing yourself while drinking around the world, but some of them melt FAST. If you’re ordering one, find some shade or a seat before you end up drinking a warm, sugary soup.

Best Cocktails (That Aren’t Frozen)

Not every great drink in EPCOT comes in slushy form. These are the best cocktails that aren’t frozen—for when you want something strong, smooth, and just a little extra.

Limoncello Mule (Italy, Via Napoli Donkey Cart) – $19.00

  • A Classic Mule with an Italian Twist – Limoncello, Grey Goose vodka, orange juice, pineapple juice, peach purée, ginger beer, and lime.
  • One of the Most Overlooked Drinks in EPCOT – Don’t sleep on the carts in the pavilions. Although their menus aren’t huge, they typically have 1 or 2 solid picks!

Aperol Spritz (Italy, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar) – $16.00

  • Light, Refreshing, & Not Too Sweet – The classic combo of Aperol, Prosecco, and soda water.
  • The Perfect “I’m Pacing Myself” Drink – Great for when you want something bubbly but not too heavy.

Moonshine Sour (American Adventure, Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar) – $16.00

  • Smooth & Sneaky – A deceptively light blend of blackberry moonshine, blood orange, and lemon.
  • Pairs Well With BBQ & Questionable Decisions – Goes down fast, but you should probably slow down (or at least grab some brisket first).

Texas Mule (American Adventure, Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar) – $16.00

  • A Southern Take on a Classic – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, fresh lime juice, and Fever Tree Ginger Beer. Simple, crisp, and just the right amount of spice.
  • Pairs Well With BBQ & Questionable Life Choices – Just trust me on this one.

Sahara Spritz (Morocco, Spice Road Table Bar) – $16.50

  • The Morocco Aperol Spritz Alternative – Citrusy, herbal, and perfect for sipping in the shade.
  • A Fancy Break From Tequila – You know that moment when you’re halfway through Drinking Around the World and realize you probably should’ve eaten more? That’s when the Sahara Spritz comes in clutch. It’s smooth, refreshing, and somehow convinces your brain you’re making good choices.

Pimm’s Cup (United Kingdom, Rose & Crown Pub) – $14.50

  • The Most British Drink on the Menu – Pimm’s No. 1 liqueur and Sprite
  • Great for When You Need a Break from Beer – An EPCOT staple that doesn’t get enough love. Plus, you get it inside one of our most favorite bars in all of EPCOT. You can sip it while soaking in that pub atmosphere that makes this stop so popular.

Kir Royale (France, Les Vins des Chefs de France) – $22.95

  • Bubbly with a Blackberry Twist – Champagne mixed with crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) for a lightly sweet and sophisticated sip.
  • A Hidden Gem in the France Pavilion – Most people go for the slush, but this is a great option for champagne lovers.

Hidden Beers & Unexpected Finds

Everyone talks about the Schofferhofer in Germany, but there are way better underrated beers in EPCOT.

Honey Jasmine Lager (China, Lotus Blossom Café) – $10.50

  • Floral, Light, & Refreshing – This crisp, jasmine-infused beer pairs perfectly with dumplings.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight – You won’t find it at any other cart in the park.

Moosehead Beer (Canada, Popcorn Cart) – $11.00

  • Simple But Perfect – A crisp, clean Canadian lager that hits different on a 95-degree day.
  • Pairs Well With Popcorn – Maple caramel popcorn + this beer? Chef’s kiss.

Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider (American Adventure, Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar) – $12.25

  • A Cider with a Kick – Bright, citrusy, and lightly spiced, this hard cider is a great pick if you love fruity drinks but don’t want anything too sweet.
  • Pairs Perfectly with BBQ – Grab one with some smoked brisket or a side of pickles from Regal Eagle.

1906 Reserva Especial (Morocco, Oasis Sweets & Sips) – $12.75

  • Bold & Malty – A full-bodied amber lager with caramel and toasted malt flavors.
  • Great Alternative to Wine – If you want something with more depth but don’t feel like wine, this is a great pick.

The Best Drinks at the EPCOT Festivals

Because festival booths rotate constantly, we’re not listing specific drinks here (check out our specific festival posts linked below for that)—but here’s where you’ll always find hidden gems that are worth checking:

  • Festival Favorites Booth (World Celebration) – This walk-up window in CommuniCore Hall rotates old festival drinks throughout the year. If you missed a good one, check here.
  • Festival Flights – Whether it’s cider flights at Food & Wine or margarita flights during Flower & Garden, festival flights are the best way to try multiple drinks without committing to just one
