If you are Disney Adults like us, you’ve probably been keeping a Disney World Bucket List for years of the things you *REALLY* want to do on your next trip.
So, to see how our lists stacked up against everybody else’s, we wrote down all the little things we’ve said were on our wish list over the years.
It’s a mix of things we’ve already crossed off our personal Disney World Bucket Lists plus some of the things we’re still trying to knock out, topped with a sprinkling of things that would take an act of Walt Disney himself to make happen
Here’s what made the cut:
Wish List Experiences for Adults at Disney World
We’ve broken our Disney World Bucket List down by category to make it a bit easier to find things that interest you.
And although we tried very hard to put all the “big” things for grown-ups in this list, we’re sure we’ve missed a few so be sure to let us know in the comments what you’d like to see added.
Drinks
These are all things on our Disney World Adult Bucket List that have to do with partaking in the 21+ side of Disney:
- Drink Around the World at Epcot. Visit all 11 countries, sampling a drink from each.
- Attend Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs. Learn all about how to make different types of sangria while enjoying tastings.
- Take a self-guided monorail bar crawl with friends. Hop on and off, visiting the bars and lounges in Disney’s Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Contemporary Resorts.
- Book the La Cava Tequila Experience. Get your tequila on in this educational experience where you’ll be learning (and tasting) premium tequilas.
- Spend an evening at Trader Sam’s. Chill out in this popular tiki bar with exotic cocktails and quirky decor.
- Attend a wine tasting seminar at Wine Bar George. Join a wine tasting seminar at Wine Bar George led by a Master Sommelier.
- Do a bar/lounge crawl at Disney Springs. Spend an afternoon, evening, or heck, even an entire day exploring the bars at Disney Springs.
Food and Dining
Our bank accounts aren’t quite here yet, so until our wallets catch up to dreams, on the bucket list these exclusive dining options go:
- Dine at Chef’s Table at Victoria and Alberts. Treat yourself to a lavish multi-course meal at Disney’s most prestigious restaurant.
- Experience the Omnivorous Course Tasting Menu at Takumi-Tei. Dive into a luxurious multi-course Japanese feast at Takumi-Tei.
- Dine at every Signature restaurant. Embark on a foodie adventure by dining at all of Disney’s Signature restaurants.
Attractions
Every trip we say we’re gonna try one of these, but alas we never do it. Someday, though!
- Complete the Parkeology 4 Park Challenge. Take on the ultimate Disney test by riding every operating attraction in all four parks in one day.
- Get “Galactic Hero” on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Score the highest points possible on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and earn the coveted title of Galactic Hero
- Ride every attraction (including shows) in 1 park, in 1 day. Conquer an entire park by experiencing every ride AND show in a single day.
- Get evacuated off of an attraction. Experience a rare Disney moment by being evacuated from a ride. Bonus points if it is off of a coaster!
Exclusive Experiences
Hands down, New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World is our number 1 bucket list item. Can’t wait for the year we can make that happen!
- Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Ring in the New Year with posh style, great food, and a front-row view of the fireworks from Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- Get a V.I.P. Tour Guide for 1 day. Enjoy Disney like a star with a VIP tour guide.
- Book a private fireworks cruise. Book a boat that will take you out for fireworks viewing on the water.
- Splurge on a cabana at one of the water parks. Spend a relaxing day at the water park in a private cabana.
- Book the Wild Africa Trek. Spend time getting up close with animals on a private safari experience.
Nightlife and Entertainment
To be totally transparent, we cross these bucket list items off our list every. single. trip.
- Visit Jellyrolls. Sing along and laugh the night away at Jellyrolls, the lively dueling piano bar at Disney’s BoardWalk.
- Go dancing at the Atlantic Dance Hall. Dance to your favorite tunes from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and today at the Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney’s BoardWalk.
Special Events
If we can’t afford NYE at the Contemporary any time soon, we feel FAIRLY confident we’ll be able to pull of New Year’s at EPCOT sooner rather than later!
- Celebrate New Year’s Eve at EPCOT. EPCOT on New Year’s is a totally different experience with DJs and parties spread out in the World Showcase. We WILL see it someday!
- Attend both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in 1 trip. If you go to the very last Halloween Party and the Very FIRST Christmas party, that is typically about 8 or so days apart. We’re itching for a trip to do both!
- Participate in a runDisney event. We don’t run but we’d consider it if it involved Disney.
- Try everything at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. This one would take a few days, but we’ve done it before and we know you can too! It costs about $1100.00 – $1300 bucks, but it’s a lot of fun. It’s also a lot of food and drinks, and there is always a bunch that isn’t so good. BUT, if you do it you can say “Look at us! We did it!”.
Resorts
Halloween at Fort Wilderness always looks so fun! Gotta make that happen someday.
- Stay in every resort at least once. Just like it says, complete at least 1 night stay in every resort on property.
- Stay at Fort Wilderness for Halloween. Did you know there is a golf cart parade and trick-or-treating on Halloween? How fun is that?
- Stay in every Club Level option. We just want to do it for the candy and drinks, which would cost us LESS if we just bought some to put in our cheap Pop Century room, but that isn’t the point.
- Book a stay in the Polynesian Bungalows. The Poly bungalows are over the water with a fantastic view of the fireworks. Yes, please.
- Stay a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite. Yeah, we know this one is a stretch.
Misc.
These are the things that didn’t quite fit into any of the other categories, but they were too good to not include.
- Do the coast-to-coast challenge. Start the day at Walt Disney World and then fly to California and go to Disneyland on the same day
- Spend a day at the Grand Floridian Spa being pampered. Massages. Pedicures. Spend the day erasing the aches and pains from the parks.
