GEO-82 Lounge at EPCOT: Full Review, Menu, & How to Book

GEO 82 entry

GEO-82 is EPCOT’s new adults-only lounge, and maybe Disney’s fanciest excuse to drink yet. Located inside the base of Spaceship Earth (yes, really), this moody cocktail bar offers panoramic fireworks views, clarified cocktails, brown butter bourbon, and a food menu that actually sounds…good? (Updated August 31, 2025)

We first went on opening day where drinks were had, hummus was eaten, and yes, we’re already been back for several return visits (including catching the fireworks from the bar – twice!).

Below is everything you need to know: the full review, menu highlights, how to get a reservation, and what you can expect from the super-exclusive fireworks package.

TL;DR: Should You Book GEO-82?

Yes. We’ve been to GEO-82 multiple times now, and if you’re into premium drinks, custom cocktails, chill adult vibes, fantastic fireworks views, and sipping something fancy while staring out EPCOT’s prettiest windows, this is 100% worth booking.

It’s not cheap, but it’s quiet, classy, stroller-free, and inside the actual icon of the park. For us, that’s a win.

What’s New Since Opening Day

We loved GEO-82 on opening day, but after a few return visits (including two timed *perfectly* for fireworks), we’ve got even more tips and details to share.

Fireworks Without the Package

We’ve figured out the sweet spot for catching the fireworks without splurging on the $179 package, and it’s now our favorite way to wrap up an EPCOT evening. The views are incredible, the music is piped in, and the whole vibe stays calm and grown-up.

Check out our Fireworks Experience section below for the full details on timing, where to sit, and how to make it work without the big price tag.

Please pardon our terrible photos; it’s really difficult to photograph fireworks through glass! BUT trust us: this is a great view (and a low-stress way to watch the show!).

More Drinks and Eats Tried

We’ve been working our way through the menu, and so far the standouts (beyond our opening-day favorites) are:

Charcuterie Board and Funghi Flatbread
  • Brulee Banana Highball: Very easy to drink and rich with flavor.
  • Funghi Flatbread: Savory and rich and perfect to share if you’re staying for a second round. We ordered this twice we loved it so much.
  • Custom Drinks: One of the best parts of GEO-82 is the bartenders. They’re friendly and just wildly talented. If you’re not feeling anything on the menu, tell them what you like: spirit, flavor profile, even mood, and they’ll create something custom that somehow fits you perfectly. We did this on each of our visits and got something absolutely delicious!
Strawberry and Coconut Right Hand and a Banana Espresso-esque Martini (not on the menu)

Reservation Insights

It’s still tough to get in, but we’ve noticed slightly better availability for mid-week evenings and later time slots. We’ve also had good luck with last-minute cancellations the morning of so it is totally worth stalking the app if you’re in the park and flexible.

Brulee Banana Highball

Our First GEO-82 Visit (Opening Day)

We booked a table on opening day and although it is pricey, we loved it. It was chill and cool and relaxed and the opposite of feeling like you are in a theme park. The drinks were very upscale, the views were stunning, and the whole space felt like a little grown-up bubble floating above the chaos.

That said, it’s *not* cheap. If you’re just looking for a quick place to cool off with a cocktail, there are other solid options like La Cava, Rose & Crown Pub (you can usually sit in the dining room until mid-afternoon), or even Space 220 Lounge (reservation needed) which is air-conditioned, fairly mellow, and about $7-$10 cheaper per drink.

But, we’ve done all of those spots so many times we were eager (and honestly pretty excited) to try something new. GEO-82 feels special.

Adding it to our regular EPCOT rotation will mean reworking our EPCOT drinking budget a bit, but we’re already planning a return trip, even if it’s just for one drink each. Worth it.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  • Check-in process: Super polished. Cast Members offered to snap a photo in front of a cool branded wall, then escort you upstairs where you’re greeted with a cold towel (which we needed after being in the park in the heat for several hours already).
  • Seating & vibe: You can sit at the bar or a table and both offer great views. The bartenders at the bar went out of their way to learn our names and walk us through the cocktail menu, including the symbols used to classify drinks (type of glassware, ice, and prep method like stirred, carbonated, or shaken).
  • How long can you stay? As long as you want. There was no time limit or drink minimum, which we were kind of surprised at, but very thankful for. The space is small, but every seat has a great view of the windows and the vibe is very grown-up. No kids, no chaos, just cocktails.

Drinks we tried:

  • Brown Butter Old Fashioned ($28.00) – A knockout. Boozy, chocolatey, served over a giant cube that’s super fun. Would absolutely order again.
  • Electron ($23.00) – A mezcal-based orange drink that somehow tasted like sunshine and spice. Surprisingly balanced and not too much of anything.
  • Peach Shrub Whiskey Smash ($26.00) – Refreshing and paired with a tiny cracker topped with jam, which was adorable and tasty.
  • A Walk Through the Garden (Zero-Proof – $17.00) – Clear, loaded with flavors like basil and fennel and lemon, and actually fun to drink. Zero-proof cocktails don’t always deliver, but this one does.

Food we tried

  • Cannellini hummus ($14.00) – delicious, not overly garlicky, and plated beautifully. We weren’t super hungry, but knew we needed something if we were having cocktails and this fit the bill since it wasn’t heavy, yet filled us up just the right amount so we still had room to enjoy our drinks.

What Is GEO-82?

GEO-82 is an upscale, adults-only lounge inside Spaceship Earth. Yes, inside the sphere. It’s a quiet, sleek retreat offering innovative cocktails, globally-inspired small bites, and arguably the most exclusive fireworks view in the park.

The name is a nod to EPCOT’s roots (Spaceship Earth opened in 1982) and the design pulls from the architecture and textures of the beloved icon itself.

Note: Geo-82 is 21+ only and requires valid theme park admission. Looking for more great drinks around the park? Don’t miss our guide to the best bars in EPCOT.

Where Is It?

You’ll find it inside the actual Spaceship Earth sphere, in the space formerly used as a corporate sponsor lounge (hi, Siemens).

If you’re standing near the Walt statue in World Celebration Gardens, look up! Those windows belong to the lounge.

How to Get a Reservation at GEO-82

GEO-82 is going to be the reservation everyone wants. It’s new. It’s sleek. It’s adults-only. And it’s literally inside Spaceship Earth. Translation: this will not be easy. But, if you plan ahead, you CAN do it.

And, GEO-82 isn’t the only reservation worth waking up for. If your Disney plans revolve around cocktails, wine flights, or fireworks with a drink in hand, check out our full list of Disney Dining Reservations Worth It for the Drinks.

Here’s what we recommend:

Use the 10-day window (if you’ve got it)

If you’re staying at a Disney resort, you can book dining for your whole trip 60 days before your check-in date. The key? Prioritize GEO-82 for the end of your stay. That date will have the least competition, and it might be your only real shot.

Book your hardest reservation first

Don’t go in order of your trip. Don’t book breakfast before dinner. If GEO-82 is what you want most, make that your first click, even if it’s Day 5 of your trip.

Be online and ready to go by 5:45 a.m. Eastern

Yes, it’s early. No, Disney doesn’t care. Reservations open around 5:45 a.m. EST. Have your My Disney Experience account logged in, payment method saved, and your caffeine situation handled.

Off-site? You’re booking one day at a time

Staying off-site? No 10-day grace window for you. You’ll need to log in 60 days out for each day of your trip, one by one. It’s painful, but it works.

Use MouseDining to set alerts

Missed out? It happens. Services like MouseDining will send you a ping if someone cancels a reservation, and it works (this is how we got our opening day reservation!). Just don’t wait too long once you get the alert because other people will be getting the same pings. It’s a race to see who can click on things FIRST!

Keep checking the day before (and the day of)

Cancellations are common, especially the night before. If you didn’t get what you wanted 60 days out, you still have a shot but you’ll just need to be a *little* obsessive with the app.

Fancy cocktail pricing means drinks are priced between $23–$28, so more expensive than the drinks you can get in the World Showcase.

Exclusive Disney Bourbon Flight – $45

This is the drink equivalent of putting your pinky up. Four rare bourbons hand-picked just for this lounge. It’s $45, but if you’re a bourbon person, you already stopped reading and mentally added it to your tab.

  • Uncle Nearest Single Barrel
  • Woodford Reserve Single Barrel
  • Blanton’s Gold Single Barrel
  • Stagg Private Barrel

Zero-Proof Cocktails

We were actually hoping for more zero-proof options, but if you’re skipping alcohol but still want a glass worth photographing, these deliver on flavor and aesthetic.

  • Manhattan in the Morning – $17.00
    • cold brew, Seedlip Spice, maple, tart cherry
  • A Walk Through the Garden – $17.00
    • Seedlip Garden, basil, fennel, celery bitters, bubbles

By the glass or bottle, the wine list is as grown-up as the cocktails. Expect boutique labels and elevated pours, not festival booth rosé.

  • Bell’s Two Hearted IPA
  • Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
  • Modelo Especial Lager
  • Yuengling Traditional Lager
  • Athletic Brewing Co. Run Wild Non-Alcoholic IPA

Small Plates

You’re not coming here to fill up and if you are visiting EPCOT during a festival, you’ll have lots of less expensive options just a few steps away. But, they won’t be in an air conditioned child-free lounge so definitely pros and cons.

  • Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau – $25.00
    • Smoked cheddar, lemon vinaigrette, Siberian caviar
  • Truffled Ahi Tuna $23.00
    • Soy-truffle ponzu, tobiko, black sesame
  • Funghi Flatbread $15.00
    • Miso-mascarpone, black garlic molasses
  • Chef’s Cheese & Charcuterie Board -$29.00
    • Artisanal cheeses, cured meats
  • Cannellini Hummus – $14.00 (plant-based)
    • Pappadam, pumpkin seed pistou, Fresno peppers

Souvenir Glasses (Because of Course There Are)

If you snag a reservation, you’ll also get access to GEO-82-exclusive souvenir glasses. They’re available through mobile order only (yep, just like the Figment popcorn bucket frenzy), and you have to have a confirmed reservation to buy one.

The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience

GEO-82 is hands-down one of the best places in EPCOT to watch the fireworks, but you don’t have to splurge on the pricey package to enjoy it.

Option 1: The Fireworks Package ($179 per person)

If you want the VIP treatment, the official Fireworks Experience includes:

  • A reserved window table
  • Champagne poured tableside
  • A tasting tower of savory bites before the show
  • Dessert service during the fireworks

It’s undeniably special (and very Instagram-worthy), but it’s also a serious splurge once you factor in tax and gratuity.

Pro tip: Book this one as early as possible. Availability is extremely limited, and tables are gone within minutes when the booking window opens.

Option 2: Regular Reservation for Fireworks (No Extra Cost)

Here’s the secret: you don’t need to buy the package to see the show. On two of our return visits, we booked a regular reservation about an hour before showtime, ordered drinks and a snack, and stayed through the fireworks without any pressure to leave.

Tips for doing it this way:

  • Aim for a start time 60–75 minutes before the show so you’re settled in before the crowds.
  • Ask (politely!) for a seat in the general seating area (most window seats are reserved for the dessert party) or better yet, sit at the bar for a surprisingly good view + easy access to the bartenders for refills.
  • Order early so you’re not mid-drink when the lights dim.

The vibe during the show is mellow and grown-up – no screaming, no chaos – just a lovely view of World Showcase Lagoon while you sip something special.

Pro tip: If you just want a drink and the lounge, skip the Fireworks Experience and try booking a regular reservation earlier in the evening.

Is GEO-82 Worth It?

For us? Yeah, totally worth it. The adults-only vibe, the service, the cocktails that taste like someone actually made them (not just poured them) were a nice change. It’s definitely a splurge, so that’s something to consider, but if you’re into good drinks, low lighting, and the rare ability to hear yourself think at EPCOT, it’s hard to beat.

The views are awesome, the bartenders were friendly and clearly masters at their craft, and the whole thing just felt… grown-up. No kids. No chaos. Just cocktails, AC, and a killer view inside the park’s most iconic building. We’d go back in a second, even just for one drink and a little peace and quiet.
