What to Eat, Sip, and Do in the France Pavilion at EPCOT

france drinks and snacks drinking around the world

Welcome to the France Pavilion, aka EPCOT’s unofficial headquarters for pastries, slushies, and shade.

It’s always a little crowded, a little chaotic, and totally worth it. Between the buttery carbs, boozy frozen drinks, and the line for Remy snaking out of the building, there’s a lot going on in this corner of World Showcase, but that’s what makes it great.

Here’s everything we love to eat, drink, and do in the France Pavilion, whether you’re here for a morning mimosa or just trying to escape the Florida sun behind a croissant.

What to Eat in the France Pavilion

You can’t walk past Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie without your stomach making a few suggestions. And we think (and the lines confirm) that the food here is actually good, not just “good for theme park food.”

Our top picks:

  • Baguette
Fresh, crusty, and perfect for walking-and-chewing. It’s also one of the best snack values in World Showcase. Grab the full loaf and pretend you’re in a Parisian commercial. No shame.
  • French Pastries
Éclairs, macarons, fruit tartes, chocolate mousse – Les Halles doesn’t really miss. Grab a few and share… if you can resist hoarding.
  • Sweet or Savory Crêpes
Crêpes À Emporter is tucked back by Remy’s and serves real-deal crêpes. The ham and cheese galette is filling enough to pass for lunch.
  • Ice Cream or Sorbet
L’Artisan des Glaces is tiny but mighty. Perfect stop on a hot day. Bonus: you can get your scoops spiked (more on that below).

What to Drink in the France Pavilion

France is one of the most popular drink stops in EPCOT, and not just because the cups look fancy in photos. The slushies here are cold, sweet, and surprisingly strong.

Orange Grand Marnier Slush
Orange Grand Marnier Slush from Les Vins des Chefs de France

Don’t miss:

  • Orange Grand Marnier Slush
A frozen mix of Grand Marnier, Grey Goose Orange Vodka, and orange juice. It’s citrusy, boozy, and dangerously drinkable. Get it from Les Vins des Chefs de France.
  • Frosé
Rosé, peach, and vodka all blended into frozen bliss. You can find this inside Les Halles if you’re already pastry shopping.
  • Mimosa
Champagne + OJ = brunch in a cup. Les Halles opens at 9:00 a.m., which makes this one of the earliest drink options in World Showcase.
  • Ice Cream Martini
Two scoops of ice cream with a shot of your choice (Grand Marnier, whipped cream vodka, or rum). Get it from L’Artisan des Glaces and thank us later.
  • Kronenbourg 1664
Crisp and light French lager. Not the most exciting drink here, but sometimes you just want beer.
  • Champagne or Wine by the Glass
Les Vins de France has a counter tucked inside for wine, bubbly, and pretending you’re fancier than you are.

What to Do in the France Pavilion

Ride: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Shrink down to rat-size and race through Gusteau’s kitchen. It’s family-friendly, trackless, and adorable. Do it first thing or right before park close for the shortest wait, or use your Lightning Lane Multi Pass if you’ve got one.

See: Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along

This is… fine. If you love the movie, it’s cute. If not, skip it and come back later for Impressions de France, which has legit stunning visuals and a killer soundtrack.

Watch: Serveur Amusant

This balancing act is way more intense than it looks. Great background show while you sip something cold. Check My Disney Experience for times.

“Tale As Old As Time” inside the Palais du Cinema is air-conditioned and sneakily fascinating. Costumes, concept art, and surprisingly interesting info on how Disney adapted classic French stories.

Meet: Belle and Aurora

Check My Disney Experience for times. Belle usually hangs by the water, Aurora by the gazebo. Good photo ops, even if you’re just cruising by.

Shop:

Perfume, wine, cookware, and more. The shopping in this pavilion is solid. You can browse Guerlain while pretending you totally know what bergamot is.

Relax:

There are shaded bistro tables near the fountain and more tucked behind the pavilion. If they’re taken, the fountain rim works just fine.

What About a Festival Booth?

France always has a festival booth, and it’s always popular. Whether it’s Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts, or Flower & Garden, the menu is usually crowd-pleasing but not fast-moving.

Pro tip: Hit the France booth right at 11:00 a.m. if you want to avoid waiting in line behind 40 people taking selfies with a champagne flute.

Final Thoughts

The France Pavilion is a vibe. It’s pretty, it’s packed, and it’s basically a pastry-fueled fever dream. Whether you’re sipping champagne in the shade or dodging toddlers with melting ice cream, it’s always a little chaotic, and somehow, still one of the best spots in World Showcase.

Come for the slushies. Stay for the crêpes. Leave with a baguette.
