Drinking Around the World Showcase – Italy Pavilion
Italy is lovely and because of all the places where you can grab both drinks and snacks, plus the great photo ops and the wide open areas, you’ll find lots of people milling about here. If you can snag a table with an umbrella, it is a great spot to spend a little bit of time relaxing and taking in the vibes of the World Showcase.
Here’s a handy graphic that you can save to your phone with our recommended top picks. But don’t stop here! We’ve got in-depth info on our favorites below.
There are lots of options for places to purchase drinks and snacks here – but wine, the Espresso Martini and Bellini cocktails, and the gelato are definitely some of the most popular.
Just don’t feel like you have to stop at one of the locations along the water. In fact, we typically recommend you skip the festival booth here altogether (it is expensive and generic) and instead, walk a few steps further into the pavilion for a larger variety that tastes better.
Just a heads-up: When we talk about ‘Drinking Around the World,’ we are focusing on the places where you can grab a quick drink and soak up all the cool atmosphere each pavilion has to offer. While Table Service restaurants often boast an extensive selection of additional drink options, we’ve chosen to spotlight the grab-and-go choices in this guide.
How much will all this cost?
Most of the drinks in the Italy pavilion are priced between $10.00 and $15.00.
The festival booth here also has some of the most expensive prices of any of the festival booths. Seriously. It is outrageously expensive there. That’s why we recommend getting your drinks elsewhere in the pavilion where the prices are more in alignment as what you’d find in other pavilions.
Also, Disney prices change all. the. time. We’ve tried listing the exact prices before, only to be burned over and over by Disney tweaking things.
So, we’ve opted to keep the exact prices off and instead go with averages or ranges.
Our Favorite Drinks and Snacks in Italy
It was tricky trying to narrow it down to our top picks, but here’s our choices for our favorite drinks and snacks in Italy
If these don’t float your boat or you’re just looking for even more options, we’ve got a full list of the most popular snack and drink choices in the Italy Pavilion down below. There’s something for everyone!
Espresso Martini
Type of Item: Cocktail
Where to Find It: Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar
Average Price: $18.00
Our Rating:
Description: A blend of vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, and Italian espresso that is served over ice with a coffee beans as garnish.
Why We Love It: If you’ve never had an espresso martini, now is your opportunity! While some places serve theirs with cream (blasphemy, we say), this version sticks to the traditional recipe of the classic cocktail—one of our all-time favorite espresso martinis we’ve ever had… and we might have had a few.
Bellini
Type of Item: Cocktail
Where to Find It: Beer and Wine Cart
Average Price: $14.00
Our Rating:
Description: An Italian cocktail that is a mix of Prosecco and peach puree.
Why We Love It: If you’re a fan of mimosas and peaches, you’ve got to give this a try. It’s perfectly peachy and it even comes in an adorable cup.
Lemon Sorbet
Type of Item: Snack
Where to Find It: Beer and Wine Cart
Average Price: $5.50
Our Rating:
Description: A small cup of lemon sorbet.
Why We Love It: Is this just prepackaged sorbet? Yes. Is it the best thing we’ve ever eaten? No. Does it help cleanse the palate while also providing icy relief from the sweltering Florida sun? Yes. Have we made our case for this snack? Unclear, but I hope so.
Other Popular Drinks in Italy
Buckle up, because you have lots of options for where to grab drinks and snacks in Italy, including several Table Service Restaurants, some carts, and a festival booth.
First, there is the Gelateria Toscana, where you can get boozy floats and Italian Margaritas. There is also a the Beer and Wine Cart which serves wine, a Limoncello Mule, and frozen ice cream treats.
One of our favorite spots is the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar which has, you guessed it – wine, but it is also home to an Espresso Martini that we get every trip, plus it has a selection of Italian beers, too.
Finally, there is also a small bar inside of La Bottega Italiana (shop_. This is kind of a hidden gem since the line here is typically pretty short.
There are also 2 spots which are full restaurants (Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria or Tutto Italia Ristorante), but for the more traditional “Drinking Around the World” options, you’ll want to stick to any of your other options or the Italy festival booth (the name changes depending on the festival).

Italy has lots of gelato and frozen treats but as for Quick Service food, there is also a pizza window near Via Napoli called Pizza al Taglio. The pizza here isn’t as good as what you can get inside of Via Napoli, but it is hearty. The only bad thing is that it isn’t open year-round.

Seasonal and Festival Drinks & Snacks
In addition to the regular kiosks and restaurants, Italy also has a booth in every Epcot Festival. Sadly, we don’t tend to love this booth (we tend to find it overpriced) – but you’ll often find long lines here so apparently lots of other people do.
When participating in challenges for Drinking Around the World, some people take multiple days and include nearby booths from countries not represented in the original 11 of the World Showcase. We have links to the menus for all of the festivals below:
- Festival of the Arts Booth Menus
- Flower and Garden Festival Booth Menus
- Food and Wine Festival Booth Menus

Tips and Tricks
Beautiful photo ops
This area is packed with lots of spots for pretty pictures. If you have Memory Maker, make sure to look for the PhotoPass photographers so you can snag some photos.
Look for the tables
Aside from some standing tables, there aren’t a TON of places to sit along the main pathway around the lake, but if you go further in to the Italy Pavilion, you’ll find some tables and chairs that are kind of hidden. Some even have umbrellas!
Check out the entertainment
Sergio is a “street” performer who is part mime, part juggler. His act is about 20 minutes long and is performed intermittently throughout the afternoon. He does a lot of interacting with the crowd and is pretty entertaining to watch.
Skip the festival booth
Unless you just really, REALLY want to get your drink from the festival booth, we recommend skipping it.
Typically, the drinks here are pricey AND generic. Instead, we recommend heading into the pavilion and getting your drink at one of the spots there.
Catch the fireworks
Italy has some of the BEST spots for fireworks. Not only do you have a fantastic view of the show, but in Italy you’re near places to grab drinks, restrooms, and food.
There is a catch, though. One of the best spots along the water can be reserved for private events, so if it is roped off you’ll have to work around that. But, even if that happens, you can still often find great spots for watching fireworks from here.
Bathrooms are nearby
There aren’t any restrooms inside the Italy Pavilion, but you can find restrooms in both Germany and The American Adventure Pavilions (which are the 2 pavilions on either side of Italy). So, whichever way you’re coming from, you’ll have an option for stopping for a break both coming and going.
