BaseLine Tap House is a must-do for us every time we’re at Hollywood Studios. Every trip. Sometimes twice.
It’s tucked into a quiet corner of Hollywood Studios, and it somehow feels like the only place in the park not trying to entertain you, which is exactly why we love it.
It’s got craft beer, charcuterie, air conditioning, and zero cartoon theming – aka the Disney adult dream. If you’re wondering what to order, when to go, or whether the pretzel is worth it (it is), here’s everything we’ve learned after way too many visits.
The Vibe
BaseLine doesn’t feel like a theme park bar. And that’s kind of the whole point.
It’s tucked away on Grand Avenue at Hollywood Studios, just far enough off the main path that you’ll feel like you’ve found something other people haven’t (although the line that is usually there midday tells a different story).

There’s no over-the-top theming, no soundtrack of screaming kids, and no flashing lights trying to sell you a ride. It’s just a chill, umbrella-laden patio with craft beer on tap and a small but mighty snack menu that never lets us down.
Inside, there’s a small bar and a few coveted air-conditioned seats, and if you happen to grab one, congrats, you win Disney. But honestly? We’ll take the patio every time. Even in the heat. Especially with a cold beer and a few hours to kill.

It’s the kind of place where you can sit down “just for one drink” and suddenly it’s 90 minutes later, your pretzel’s gone, your flight’s empty, and you’re seriously questioning whether you need to ride anything else today.
The Music Deserves a Moment
If you’ve ever caught yourself mid-sip thinking, “Wait, is this a chilled-out acoustic cover of TLC?” – yes. Yes it is.
The playlist at BaseLine Tap House is full of low-key remixes and indie-ish covers of songs you actually know. It’s the kind of background music that makes you feel like you’re cooler than you probably are, and it sets the tone perfectly for people-watching with a beer in hand.
Honestly, it’s part of what makes the whole place feel like such a vibe. No loud park noise. No high-energy Disney loops. Just a solid soundtrack for drinking in peace.
What to Eat and Drink at BaseLine Tap House
The menu at BaseLine is short and to the point, which honestly feels like a relief after busy days in the park. In our opinion, we’d much rather have an average sized menu packed with winners rather than a huge list of beers that are hit or miss.

The Beer Situation
It’s all California-based craft beer, and you can grab a full pour (16 or 22 oz) or build your own flight (about $14.25) with four 5 oz pours. The flight is a great option if you’re indecisive or just want to pretend you’re at a tasting room instead of sweating through a theme park shirt.

Pro Tip: If in doubt, go for the 22 oz because, especially if the line is long. The cost difference is minimal, and you’ll probably regret not getting it once you sit down. Ask us how we know….
Personal favorites:
- Golden Road Hefeweizen – Light, smooth, dangerously easy to drink.
- North Coast Red Seal – More bite, but still super drinkable.
- Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA – A classic for hop fans.
BaseLine is also one of our top picks on our list of the Best Bars at Disney World, especially if you’re into craft beer and snacks over sugar bombs and theming.
Not into beer? There’s a surprisingly decent wine list, a couple of cocktails, and even a few non-alcoholic drinks like strawberry hibiscus soda that don’t feel like sad afterthoughts.
The Snack Game
Listen, the snack menu is tiny, but all 3 options are perfect for picking at when you’re sipping a beer. These are not “theme park snacks.” These are “I’d actually order this at home” snacks.

- The Bavarian Pretzel: It’s big enough to share but no judgment if you don’t. Comes with beer cheese and spicy mustard and it hits different after your second (or third!) drink. The mustard is vinegary in the best way.
- Charcuterie Board: Yes, in a theme park. It rotates occasionally, but it’s always solid. Great cheese, decent meat, pickles that taste like actual pickles. You’ll feel a little fancy. You’ve earned it.
- Avenue Chips: Salt and Vinegar chips and beer-cheese fondue are what dreams are made of.
Pro Tips for Doing BaseLine Tap House Right
Go early(ish)
BaseLine typically opens around 10:30 a.m., and if you roll up not long after that, it’s usually blissfully quiet. This is my go-to time if I want a shady table and a chance to pretend I’m not in a park full of people sprinting toward Rise of the Resistance.
That said, it’s also great later in the day when the sun is lower (after dark in the cooler months is lovely) and you just want to sit and chill after a busy day.
Patio Beats Inside Every Time
If it’s your first time and you think you want one of the few indoor seats… trust me. Grab a table outside. That’s where the real BaseLine energy is. Shady spots go fast, so be strategic, look for people who look like they’re on their last sip and hover respectfully (or not).

Bonus tip: If the patio’s packed, you can take your drink around the corner to the outdoor seating at ABC Commissary. Not quite the same vibe, but still solid.
Share a flight. Or don’t.
The beer flights are generous enough to share, but honestly, you won’t want to. Build your own, or if you’re with someone indecisive, order different ones and try everything. Pro move: ask the bartender for recommendations based on what you normally drink, they know their stuff.
Don’t sleep on the snacks
If you’re just here for a drink, fine. But if you skip the pretzel or the cheese board, I don’t know what to tell you. These are “I’m full but I’ll still order it again next time” level snacks. And, honestly, they are a nice change from Quick Service Disney food.
Stay awhile
BaseLine is one of those spots where it’s really easy to lose track of time in the best way. It’s not a rush-in, rush-out stop, it’s a “we’re just going to chill here for a bit” kind of place. So lean into that.
Final Thoughts
BaseLine Tap House isn’t flashy. It doesn’t have animatronics or glow cubes or a complicated backstory. But honestly? That’s exactly why we love it.
It’s low-key, consistently good, and just easy, which is a rare thing to find in the middle of a Disney theme park. Whether you’re starting your day here, stopping in to recharge, or ending with a final flight before heading out, BaseLine *always* delivers.
