Drinking Around the World at EPCOT isn’t just about grabbing a drink in each country—it’s about the experience, the strategy, and, let’s be honest, surviving until Canada.
We’ll tell you exactly how our most recent adventure went (spoiler: questionable decisions were made), but we didn’t stop there! After our recap, we’ve included a full country-by-country guide with all your drink options, bar locations, and prices so you can put together your own Drinking Around the World challenge—whether you’re sticking to the classics or going completely off the rails.
Let’s get into it!
Important note: Drinking Around the World is fun, but only if you do it responsibly. Make sure you’re knocking back lots of water between those pints and don’t forget to eat. Looking for the drinks people always skip? Check out our guide to Hidden EPCOT Drinks You Might Be Missing—because you deserve better than just the usual suspects.

Want the full rundown? Let’s go.
Drinking Around the World at EPCOT: What to Expect
EPCOT’s World Showcase has 11 countries, each offering its own alcoholic beverages. You can go clockwise (Mexico first) or counterclockwise (Canada first). If you’re brave, you can double back to France for a second round of slushies. No judgment.
Oh, and if you’re entering in the International Gateway, you’ll have to decide if you’re starting in France or the U.K. SO MANY CHOICES!
On our most recent Drinking Around the World adventure, we started in Mexico like the experts we are. And mom, if you’re reading this, I promise we shared most of these drinks and we drank them over about 7 hours, so it wasn’t like we were double fisting drinks as we jogged around the World Showcase.
We took it slow and left plenty of time for water, snacks, and laughs.
Stop 1: Mexico – The Dangerous Start
Drink: Avocado Margarita ($18.50, La Cava del Tequila)
Ah, Mexico. The siren song of margaritas and the birthplace of overconfidence. We did what every rookie and veteran alike does: headed straight to La Cava del Tequila for the Avocado Margarita. It was smooth, citrusy, and dangerously drinkable. We said things like, “This is delicious but strong, so let’s pace ourselves.”
Then we immediately forgot that advice.

Stop 2: Norway – Coffee, But Make It Boozy
Drink: Frozen Viking Coffee ($15.50, Kringla Bakeri)
The next logical step after tequila? Coffee. Viking Coffee. Frozen. Because Florida. This one was a delightful mix of Baileys, coffee liqueur, and just enough caffeine to convince us we were making great life choices.
We debated riding Frozen Ever After but decided that standing in line with a drink in hand was less efficient than drinking while walking. It was hot out so we felt that efficiency was key.

Stop 3: China – The Refreshing Reset
Drink: Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea ($12.75, Joy of Tea)
China is where things got dangerously refreshing. The Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea? Absolute perfection. It was light, floral, and slightly sweet—aka, the exact kind of drink that tricks you into thinking you’re hydrating when you are absolutely not.
We toasted to our wisdom in picking something with tea in the name. Surely, that made it healthy.

Stop 4: Germany – The “We Need a Snack” Stop
Drink: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer ($11.50, Bier Stand)
At this point, we were feeling fantastic and also hungry. The Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer was low-alcohol, crisp, and almost too easy to drink. It paired perfectly with a giant, warm pretzel that we absolutely needed for survival.
We briefly considered buying lederhosen. The margarita said yes, but the Viking Coffee said, “You’ll regret that.”

Stop 5: Italy – The Second Wind
Drink: Espresso Martini ($18, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar)
At this point with our stomachs full, we were starting to fade a bit. But Italy saved us. And with an Espresso Martini in hand, we suddenly felt invincible. It was smooth, a little bougie, and just strong enough to convince us that we could, in fact, drink around the world without consequences.
Spoiler: There were consequences.

Stop 6: American Adventure – The Reality Check
Drink: Tennessee Lemonade ($16, Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar)
The halfway point. This is where lesser drinkers fall. But us? We soldiered on. The Tennessee Lemonade, a mix of whiskey, peach, and lemon, was dangerously good and reminded us that hydration was an afterthought at this point.
We high-fived a dad in an American flag shirt. Morale was high.

Stop 7: Japan – Where We Made Friends
Drink: Violet Sake ($12.50, Garden House)
Japan was where things took a turn. Not in a bad way, but in a “suddenly everyone in EPCOT wants to talk to us” kind of way. The Violet Sake was bright purple, ridiculously sweet, and a total conversation starter.
We got compliments. We gave compliments. We might have joined a bachelorette party group for a bit.

Stop 8: Morocco – The Lifesaver
Drink: Frozen Mint Tea ($15.50, Oasis Sweets & Sips)
Morocco was a turning point. The Frozen Mint Tea wasn’t just good—it was a literal lifesaver. Cool, minty, and non-carbonated, it was exactly what we needed to prevent making bad choices in France.
Just kidding. We still made bad choices in France.

Stop 9: France – Where We Peaked
Drink: Grand Marnier Orange Slush ($14.95, Les Vins des Chefs de France)
France is where everything feels like a brilliant idea. The Grand Marnier Orange Slush was sweet, boozy, and went down too easily—and suddenly, we were laughing louder, gesturing wildly, and convinced we were fluent in French.
We were not.

Stop 10: United Kingdom – The Pub Stop
Drink: Imperial Sampler (Cider + Lager Mix) ($14.75, Rose & Crown Pub)
We staggered into the UK fully prepared to never leave. The Imperial Sampler (a flight of 4 beers) was the reset button we needed because the smaller sizes tricked us into thinking we weren’t drinking as much. They also made it way easier to share so we weren’t fighting over 1 cup.
We adopted terrible accents. We considered staying forever.

Stop 11: Canada – The Victory Lap
Drink: Ottawa Apple ($14.50, Canada Popcorn Cart)
Canada was a blur, but we do remember the Ottawa Apple being oddly comforting. It tasted like fall, questionable choices, and accomplishment.
We found a bench. We sat. We reflected. We had officially survived Drinking Around the World.

Final Thoughts:
- Best Pacing Drink: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer (Germany)
- Most Fun Drink: Violet Sake (Japan)
- Most Dangerous Drink: Avocado Margarita (Mexico)
- Best Overall Experience: Rose & Crown Pub (UK)
Would we do it again? Absolutely. Would we start in Mexico again? Always.

How to Drink Around the World at EPCOT (Without Regrets)
- If you’re feeling fancy, mix in some festival drinks if available!
- Start in Mexico for the full experience, start in Canada if you want to pace yourself.
- Split drinks if you’re in a group (it’ll save you money AND keep you from napping in the American Adventure pavilion).
- Food is your best friend—grab a pretzel in Germany, poutine in Canada, and anything from Les Halles in France.
- Drinking water between each pavilion is not optional. Unless you want to be the person asleep on a bench in Japan while your friends eat sushi without you.
Country-by-Country Drink Guide
Ok, so now that you’ve seen just how our adventure Drinking Around the World went, it’s your turn to put together YOUR own Drinking Around the World Challenge!
To do that, you first have to know the best options available from each pavilion. So, in the guide below we’ve made sure to include a variety of drink types— beers, cocktails, and wines—to try to accommodate all different preferences and budgets. And yes, our lists are all things we’ve tried, too. We’ve spent a lot of time “researching” this.
You know – for science.
Also, everything we’ve included are items that are available year-round, but we HIGHLY recommend you check out the EPCOT festival booths for additional options, too! Thinking about taking a grown-ups trip to EPCOT? Check out Complete Guide to EPCOT for Adults for all our best tips and info.

Best Drinks in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Avocado Margarita ($18.50, La Cava del Tequila)
Skip: Standard Frozen Margaritas (You can do better)
Let’s Talk Strategy:
Starting in Mexico? Bold move. This pavilion is where Drinking Around the World either kicks off beautifully or ends before it starts (We’ve seen both happen).
If you want to play it safe, grab a Avocado Margarita—solid choice, won’t let you down. If you’re feeling reckless, take a tequila shot at La Cava and see how long you last. Either way, don’t skip the chips and queso. You’ll need the fuel.

Best Drinks in the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Frozen Viking Coffee ($15.50, Kringla Bakeri)
Skip: Carlsberg Beer (Fine, but unremarkable)
Hot Take:
Norway doesn’t have a ton of drink options, but what they do have is Viking Coffee, which is basically a permission slip for day drinking. It’s got Baileys, coffee liqueur, and caffeine—a beautiful mix of regret and productivity.
Also, it’s served frozen, which makes it perfect for Florida heat and terrible for people with sensitive teeth.

Best Drinks in the China Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea ($12.75, Joy of Tea)
Skip: Kung Fu Punch (Tastes like regret in a cup)
Honest Review:
China’s drink lineup is chaotic. Some are great, but others taste like battery acid and bad choices.
Pro Tip: If you want something refreshing, not overwhelming, go for the Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea. If you want something that tastes like a mistake, order the Kung Fu Punch. You’ve been warned.

Best Drinks in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen ($11.50, Bier Stand)
Hidden Gem: Pretzel Bread Pudding (Not a drink, but trust us)
Why You’ll Love This Stop:
It is physically impossible to leave the Germany pavilion without a beer in hand. It’s in the rulebook. (Probably.)
The Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen is low-alcohol and dangerously drinkable, making it one of the best pacing drinks on this list. If you’re deep into the challenge and need a pick-me-up, grab a pretzel bread pudding from Sommerfest and thank me later.

Best Drinks in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT
IBest Drink: Espresso Martini ($18, Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar)
Skip: Overpriced Festival Wines (They sound fancy, but meh)
Here’s the Move:
Italy = wine, but the real MVP? The Espresso Martini. I was halfway through this challenge, dangerously close to giving up, when this drink brought me back to life. It’s smooth, strong, and just bougie enough to make you feel like you’re making good choices (even if you aren’t).
And if you need a boozy dessert, you can spike your gelato with Limoncello at Gelateria Toscana. Yes, EPCOT is beautiful.
But what you shouldn’t do is hit up the festival booth here. EVER. It is overpriced and just not worth the money or the time you’ll spend waiting in line.
Budget | Restaurant | Drink | Drink Type | Price |
---|---|---|---|---|
Low end | Gelateria Toscana | Peroni Draft | Beer | $11.00 |

Best Drinks in the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Tennessee Lemonade ($16, Regal Eagle Outdoor Bar)
Skip: Any basic domestic beer (C’mon, you can get that anywhere)
A Rare Hot Day Lifesaver:
It’s hot and you’re halfway through the challenge. Your options:
- Get a beer and power through without a break.
- Be smart and get a Tennessee Lemonade, which is whiskey, lemonade, and peach in a cup of cold salvation and a snack inside the nice, cold air conditioning of Regal Eagle.
Guess which one we recommend?

Best Drinks in the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Violet Sake ($12.50, Garden House)
Skip: Sake Slushies (Weird texture, not great)
The Drink That’ll Get You Noticed:
The Violet Sake is basically a neon beacon for curious EPCOT drinkers. I once walked ten feet with this in hand before three separate people stopped me to ask where I got it. If you like drinks that taste like Jolly Ranchers and make you instantly more popular, this is your move.
Japan also has great cocktail flights, so if you can’t decide on just 1, go for that.

Best Drinks in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Frozen Mint Tea ($15.50, Oasis Sweets & Sips)
Hidden Gem: Sahara Spritz (Spice Road Table)
The Coolest Drink in EPCOT (Literally)
By the time you hit Morocco, you’re probably in one of two situations:
- You’re thriving. You’ve mastered the art of hydration and pacing, and you’re feeling like a pro.
- You’re struggling. The Florida sun and back-to-back cocktails have betrayed you, and you’d pay $50 for an air-conditioned nap.
Either way, the Frozen Mint Tea is your savior. It’s refreshing, sweet but not too sweet, and just caffeinated enough to keep you going. If you need something stronger, grab the Sahara Spritz, which is light, citrusy, and makes you feel fancy even when you’re sweatier than an animatronic on a hot day.

Best Drinks in the France Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Orange Grand Marnier Slush ($14.95, Les Vins des Chefs de France)
Skip: The festival booth (Unless the seasonal drinks really call to you—sometimes they’re winners, sometimes they’re just…fine.)
Where Fancy Meets Frozen Booze
The France Pavilion is where you start questioning your life choices in the best way possible. Maybe it’s the wine-heavy drink menu, maybe it’s the fact that the pastries at Les Halles are calling your name, or maybe it’s because you’re eight drinks deep and suddenly fluent in French (you’re not).
If you’re here for the classic experience, go for the Orange Grand Marnier Slush—sweet, boozy, and refreshing enough to make you forget how much you just spent on it. If orange isn’t your thing, the Citron Slush (Grey Goose Lemon) is just as solid.
Feeling extra fancy? Step into Les Vins de France and grab a glass of Champagne. There’s even a Dom Pérignon Brut pour ($45), for those moments when you feel like a park day should cost as much as a car payment.

Best Drinks in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Imperial Sampler ($14.75, Rose & Crown Pub)
Skip: Standard Draft Beers (Nothing wrong with them, but go for a pub blend!)
A Classic Pub Stop—With a Twist
The UK Pavilion is dangerously good at convincing you to stay longer than planned. Between the cozy pub vibes, great music, and a strong beer lineup, you could easily set up camp here and never leave.
If you can’t decide what to order, grab an Imperial Sampler, which is a flight of Bombardier Amber, Harp Lager, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, and Guinness Stout.
If you’re feeling fancy, there’s a Macallan Whisky Flight ($26.50). If you’re feeling reckless, go for a Strongbow Cider and pretend it’s hydrating.
Pro Tip: Grab your drink and wander into the garden area behind the pavilion—it’s usually quieter, shaded, and a solid place to regroup before the final stretch.

Best Drinks in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT
Best Drink: Ottawa Apple ($14.50, Canada Popcorn Cart)
Skip: Standard Draft Beer (It’s good, but not exactly unique to EPCOT)
A Toast to Maple Syrup and Questionable Decisions
Whether Canada is your first stop or your last, one thing is guaranteed—you’re walking away from here with a drink or a sudden urge to buy maple syrup in the gift shop. Or maybe both.
The Ottawa Apple is a sleeper hit. It’s made with Crown Royal Whisky, maple, apple, and cranberry juice, and somehow tastes like a crisp fall day, even when it’s 95 degrees outside. If you’re beer loyal, you’ll find a few solid options, but nothing particularly exclusive to EPCOT.
Want to really lean into the Canada vibes? Grab a drink, find a spot near the waterfall, and take a moment to reflect on your life choices so far. If this is your last stop, congrats—you survived! If it’s your first, well…pace yourself. You’ve got a long road ahead.
