About Skye Ellis

I am Skye. I have been going to Walt Disney World since 2007, and my first EPCOT festival was Food & Wine. I walked out of World Showcase that year with a stamped passport and a slight lean. Also a very clear idea of what I wanted my adult trips to look like.

These days I go every couple of months with my friends. No kids, no character breakfasts, no 7 AM rope drop unless somebody I love asks nicely. A table at La Cava whenever they will have us.

What I drink: craft beer, first and always. Every day at Disney World gets at least one espresso martini. That is a rule, not a suggestion. I do not care that it is 11 AM.

What I do not drink: a bloody mary. I love the idea of a bloody mary. The little skewer, the celery, the whole brunch of it. I cannot stand the flavor. We have tried to make it work. We could not.

I have strong opinions about margaritas, and I have never once ordered the right thing in Norway on the first try. If you have, tell me what it was. I will believe you.

Skye Ellis is a pen name. I work in the travel industry and keep this site separate from my day job, which is the only reason for it. The trips, the receipts, the photos and the opinions are all mine. More on that, and on how we check prices, on the About page.
