Jellyrolls was an every-trip stop for us. Two people banging away on pianos, requests scribbled on napkins with dollar bills tucked inside, and a pretty good chance you’d still be singing at 2 AM. Hurly-Burly took over that building on Disney’s BoardWalk on October 1, 2026, and the short version of this Hurly-Burly review is this: it is no Jellyrolls.
That isn’t all bad news! Arya and I went on a Monday night in late October, and the drinks were BETTER than anything Jellyrolls ever served. They’re hand-crafted one at a time, not batched, and they cost about the same.
The food was great. And the room is GORGEOUS.
It’s just a different kind of night. Hurly-Burly is a date-night lounge, the kind of place where you sit next to your honey and listen to the band. It is NOT a sing-along-loudly-with-strangers-until-2-AM kind of place, and if that’s what you loved about Jellyrolls, you should know that going in.
TL;DR: Hurly-Burly at Disney’s BoardWalk
A gorgeous, upscale theatre lounge in the old Jellyrolls space, open since October 1, 2026. Families are welcome from 4 PM to 9 PM for trivia and games. After 9 PM it’s 21 and older, with a live band until 1 AM. No reservations: walk up, or join the walk-up list in the My Disney Experience app.
Cocktails run $17 to $21 and bites $11 to $21. Our tab for four cocktails and three bites was $115 before tax and tip. Order the Overproof Amaretto Sour and the Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts. Go for date night, not for a Jellyrolls-style sing-along.
What Is Hurly-Burly?
Hurly-Burly is a lounge on Disney’s BoardWalk, in the space that used to be Jellyrolls. The theme is a vintage seaside theatre. There’s a proscenium stage with orange velvet curtains, gold shell footlights along the edge of the stage, a starry painted ceiling, and a bar window that looks right out onto the BoardWalk.

It runs on two shifts. From 4 PM to 9 PM it’s family-friendly, with a host running games and trivia. At 9 PM it switches to guests 21 and older (bring a valid photo ID), and live music takes the stage until close. Disney lists the hours as 4 PM to 1 AM.

Disney basically took the cruise ship lounge idea and brought it to the BoardWalk: trivia and games during the day, adults only at night. Which is fine! The sign out front also says the music genre changes nightly. So the band you get depends on the night you go.
One more change on this stretch of the BoardWalk: Atlantic Dance Hall stopped regular operations on September 30, 2026, and is now a special-events venue.
Hurly-Burly vs. Jellyrolls: Better Bar, Different Night
Hurly-Burly is the better bar. Jellyrolls was the better party.
The drinks aren’t close. Every cocktail is built by hand, the spirits are named right on the menu (Woodford Reserve, Diplomático, Michter’s), and drink for drink, they don’t cost more than Jellyrolls did. If you only care about what’s in your glass, this is an upgrade.
The party is where it falls apart, and it comes down to who picks the songs. At Jellyrolls, the crowd drove the music. People wrote requests on napkins and tucked in dollar bills to improve their odds of hearing their song. The piano players played them, and the whole room sang along.
At Hurly-Burly, the band picks.

The night we were there, the band was dressed like jazz singers and singing Top 40 hits. Hearing “Espresso” sung with that aesthetic just didn’t hit the same as two people banging away on a piano. The entertainment was perfectly fine. It just wasn’t the reason to be there.
The band did try to get people singing along a few times. It never took. Part of the problem is the room itself: plush armchairs, marble tables, and a crowd that’s settled in to sit and listen. That atmosphere doesn’t lend itself to belting out a chorus with the table next to you.
The room is also BRIGHT. At Jellyrolls, the audience sat mostly in the dark, which gave you a little shelter when you were singing. At Hurly-Burly, the lights are up and you can see every face in the room, which makes it a lot harder to be the first one singing.

I do get it. That upscale feel is going to appeal to a LOT of people, and the room is so pretty.
But Jellyrolls was a place we went every single trip. Hurly-Burly is a once-in-a-while thing. I wouldn’t want to spend hours and hours there the way we did at Jellyrolls.
What to Drink at Hurly-Burly
We had four cocktails between us, and every one was DELICIOUS. The cocktail list runs $17 to $21 (October 2026 prices). Beer runs $8.50 to $13, with an “Atlantic Coast Favorites” section (Brooklyn Brewery, Allagash, Dogfish Head), and wine by the glass starts at $11.

Caramel Corn Old Fashioned ($21)
Woodford Reserve bourbon, caramel corn, and The Bitter Truth Decanter Bitters, served over a big cube with a strip of citrus peel. It comes with a little bowl of caramel corn on the side for snacking, which is a very fun touch for a $21 Old Fashioned. If you’re a bourbon person, start here.

Taste: 8/10 | Value: 7/10
Quality EntertainMINT ($20)
Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva rum, demerara, lime, mint, and Angostura bitters, topped with prosecco and served in a coupe with a mint sprig. It’s built a lot like a mojito, with prosecco on top.

Taste: 8/10 | Value: 7/10
Overproof Amaretto Sour ($19)
Lazzaroni amaretto, Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style bourbon, and lemon, shaken until it gets a foamy top and finished with a lemon and cherry pick. The “overproof” is the Old Forester 1920, a bourbon bottled at a higher proof than your standard bottle, so this one has more backbone than the amaretto sours you remember.

Taste: 9/10 | Value: 8/10
La Taquilla Picante ($18)
Ghost Blanco tequila, lime, orgeat, rose water, and a spiced nutmeg rim, finished with an orchid. Ghost is a pepper-infused tequila, which is where the “picante” comes from. It’s also the cheapest cocktail we ordered.

Taste: 8/10 | Value: 8/10
Non-Alcoholic Drinks
For a non-drinking partner, the non-alcoholic list is cute. The Caramel Corn Cold Brew ($6.99) is Joffrey’s cold brew with caramel sweet cream and caramel popcorn, a nice twin to the Old Fashioned. The Cherry Marquee ($6.49) is Minute Maid lemonade blended with Amarena cherries, and the Overture in Orange ($6.99) is a frozen orange-and-cream treat.
What to Eat at Hurly-Burly
The food was great, too. We had three bites, and you could order any of them with confidence.
Tomato Pie ($11)
Focaccia with tomato sauce, oregano, and Pecorino Romano. It shows up as a long strip of thick, airy focaccia cut into four squares, so it’s easy to share. A plant-based version is available on request.

Taste: 8/10 | Value: 8/10
Meatballs in Tomato Gravy ($15)
Veal, pork, and beef meatballs in tomato gravy with stracciatella and Pecorino Romano, served in a little brass pan with slices of toasted focaccia on both sides for scooping. The stracciatella pools around the meatballs, and you’ll want every bit of it on that bread. There’s a plant-based option on request here, too.

Taste: 9/10 | Value: 8/10
Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts ($11)
Sugar-coated doughnut bites with a cup of miso-caramel sauce for dipping. Get these for the table. Share them with your date. Or don’t. Yolo.

Taste: 9/10 | Value: 8/10
The Rest of the Menu
If you just want something small with your drink, the Theatre Concessions ($12) is a trio of meatballs, a sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn. The rest of the menu is the Antipasto ($21), Roast Beef Sliders ($17), Mini Pretzels with bacon-cheese fondue ($12), and Oven-Roasted Shrimp ($19).

What Our Night at Hurly-Burly Cost
Here’s our full tab for two people, at October 2026 menu prices.
What We Ordered | Price |
|---|---|
Caramel Corn Old Fashioned | $21 |
Quality EntertainMINT | $20 |
Overproof Amaretto Sour | $19 |
La Taquilla Picante | $18 |
Meatballs in Tomato Gravy | $15 |
Tomato Pie | $11 |
Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts | $11 |
Total, before tax and tip | $115 |
That’s about $58 each, before tax and tip, for two cocktails apiece and three shared bites. It isn’t cheap. But drink for drink, it’s no more than Jellyrolls charged, and the drinks are a lot better.

Do You Need a Reservation for Hurly-Burly?
No. Hurly-Burly is walk-up only, and there’s a walk-up list in the My Disney Experience app, so you can get in line without standing at the door.
We walked in at 8:24 on a Monday night and were seated right away. No wait at all. The whole time we were there, three to five tables sat open. A Saturday night or a holiday week may look very different, so join the walk-up list from the app if you’re timing it around dinner.
Getting there around 8:30 also meant we caught some of the trivia before the 9 PM switch to adults only. People seemed to be having a great time with it. The band didn’t come on until closer to 9:15 or 9:20, so there’s a little lull after trivia wraps.

The Outdoor Walk-Up Bar
Out on the BoardWalk, there’s a walk-up bar window under a rust-colored awning, with a row of stools along the counter. The windows fold open, so you can see straight into the back bar. It’s one of my favorite parts of the whole place.

The window pours a shorter list than the lounge. At opening, that included the Caramel Corn Old Fashioned, the Cherry-Vodka Limeade, and the Bubble Brava! It’s a great option if you want one good cocktail on the BoardWalk without committing to a table.
Who Should Go to Hurly-Burly?
Hurly-Burly is a date night. Sit next to your honey, order a couple of really good cocktails, share the doughnuts, and listen to the band. If that sounds like a great evening, you’ll love it here.
If you’re chasing the old Jellyrolls night, with the napkin requests and the dollar bills and the singing with strangers into the wee hours, this isn’t it. Sigh.
It’s also an easy add after a night in EPCOT. The International Gateway lets you walk out of World Showcase and onto the BoardWalk. Families can come too, as long as it’s before 9 PM.
Our Hurly-Burly Verdict
The drinks are delicious, the food is great, and the room is gorgeous. We’d go back for all three.

But Hurly-Burly isn’t Jellyrolls. Jellyrolls was an every-trip stop. Hurly-Burly is a once-in-a-while stop, and on the right night, with the right person, it’s a lovely one.
