Somewhere around the halfway point of every Drinking Around the World crawl, we hit a wall. That’s when we duck into Tutto Gusto in the Italy pavilion and order the espresso martini.
It’s cold and strong, with just enough caffeine to wake you back up and keep the energy going for the remaining 6 countries. But sadly, it’s also $18. Sigh.
The good news is that the EPCOT espresso martini is one of the easiest park drinks to copy at home. We’ve made it in our own kitchen, and the only thing we felt was missing was Sergio (the street performer in the Italy pavilion) blowing that annoying whistle the entire time we were trying to enjoy it.
Jump to RecipeWhat’s in the EPCOT Espresso Martini?
Disney’s official menu lists three ingredients: vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, and Italian espresso. That’s it. No cream, no chocolate drizzle, no syrupy flavor shots. And I think that’s why we love it: great flavor WITHOUT being overly sweet.
Ours comes shaken, poured over ice, and topped with a coffee bean or two. Order it to go and you get a clear plastic cup, so you can watch the foam settle on your walk to the American Adventure.

A lot of espresso martinis around Walt Disney World lean creamy and dessert-like. This one is definitely coffee-forward. You taste the espresso first and the vanilla second.
The coffee liqueur and vanilla vodka bring some sweetness, but it finishes clean, not sugary.
How to Make the EPCOT Espresso Martini at Home
This is our copycat, not Disney’s recipe. Keep in mind that Disney’s menu lists the ingredients but not the amounts but we’ve found that our ratio, which is two parts vanilla vodka to one part coffee liqueur and one part espresso, makes a pretty close dupe.
Which Vodka and Coffee Liqueur to Use
You can use whatever vanilla vodka and coffee liqueur you have on hand…we do that a lot. BUT, if you’re buying a bottle for this, Kahlúa is the classic coffee liqueur and the easiest to find. Mr. Black is less sweet and tastes more like straight coffee (which is perfect for this drink). For vanilla vodka, Absolut Vanilia or Stoli Vanil both work fine.
Our home version tastes pretty darn close to the one at Tutto Gusto. You can taste the difference with cheaper bottles, though. This is one drink where the good stuff pays off.
Use Fresh Espresso
Fresh espresso gives you the foam on top. Pull your shot first and let it sit for a minute or two while you get everything else ready, so it doesn’t melt all your ice.
No espresso machine? Strong cold brew concentrate works in a pinch. You’ll get less foam, but the flavor is still there.
Shake It Hard
This is the step that makes it look like what you’ll get in EPCOT. Fill your shaker with ice and shake for at least a full 15 seconds, harder than feels necessary because that’s what builds the creamy layer of foam, with no cream involved. Consider it a mini arm day, if you will.
A short, lazy shake gives you flat iced coffee with vodka in it. Still perfectly drinkable but definitely not the same.
Serve It Over Ice
Tutto Gusto serves theirs on the rocks, so we do too. Strain it into a glass full of fresh ice, and the foam floats right on top. If you’d rather drink it up, chill a martini glass in the freezer while you make the espresso.

Notes
How to Order It Sweeter or Creamier
Because the park version isn’t very sweet or creamy to start with, you can ask the bartender to adjust it.
If you want it sweeter, ask for a little simple syrup. If you want it creamier, ask for a splash of Irish cream. Both push it toward dessert without losing the coffee.
We’ve never been charged extra for either but Disney does like to charge for every little thing, though, so don’t be shocked if that changes.
Where Else You Can Get an Espresso Martini at EPCOT
Four World Showcase restaurants list a classic espresso martini on Disney’s October 2026 menus. Three are in Italy, and all three charge $18. The fourth is in Canada, and it’s cheaper.

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar (Our Pick)
This is where we always order ours. Tutto Gusto is a dark, cool wine cellar tucked next to Tutto Italia, and walking in from the World Showcase heat feels like someone flipped on the air conditioning inside your soul.

You can’t just grab an open table anymore. Seating is still first come, first served, but you have to ask the host to seat you. Or order your drink to go if you’re keeping the crawl moving. It does get busy.

Tutto Italia Ristorante
Tutto Italia is the Table Service restaurant right next door, and its menu lists the same drink with the same ingredients. If you already have a dinner reservation there, order it with dessert. If you’re on a crawl, Tutto Gusto is the faster stop.
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria
Via Napoli, the pizza place at the back of the pavilion, has its own espresso martini made with Lavazza espresso. It also has a Tiramisù Martini with vanilla vodka, Baileys, Kahlúa, espresso, cream, and cocoa. If you know you want the creamy version, that’s your drink. It’s dessert in a glass.

Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada)
Le Cellier lists an espresso martini with the same three ingredients for $16, the cheapest classic version at EPCOT. The catch is that Le Cellier is a Table Service steakhouse, so this one comes with dinner, not with a crawl. Our Canada pavilion guide has the rest of Canada’s drinks.
Two Espresso Martini Twists at EPCOT
Rose & Crown in the UK pavilion pours the Dublin After Dark for $20. It’s an espresso martini with Grey Goose, Mr. Black coffee liqueur, demerara, and Guinness. Our Rose & Crown Pub review has the rest of the cocktail list.
Over in World Discovery, Space 220 Lounge has the Up All Night for $18: vanilla vodka, chilled espresso, Kahlúa, and crème de cacao, topped with a piece of astronaut ice cream. It’s an espresso martini in everything but name.

Our Italy pavilion guide has the rest of Italy’s drinks and snacks, plus the shady spots to sit when Tutto Gusto is full.
Is the Tutto Gusto Espresso Martini Worth $18?
For taste, yes. It’s one of our favorite drinks in all of World Showcase, and it has never let us down.
For value, it’s harder to love. Eighteen dollars for a small martini stings, and it stings more when you know what three ingredients cost at home. The pour is small, but it’s strong.
We still order it every time. Italy is our pick for the pavilion in our Drinking Around the World guide, and our cost breakdown has what the full loop runs.
Taste: 9/10 | Value: 6/10
More Espresso Martinis Around Disney World
If you love this one, you won’t have to go far for another. Disney’s October 2026 menus list an espresso martini at more than 50 restaurants and lounges across the parks, Disney Springs, and the resorts.
If you want your caffeine frozen, head to Norway for the Viking Coffee. It’s the other coffee drink we order on a crawl. For sit-down cocktails outside EPCOT, our best bars at Disney World list has the lounges we think are worth the price. Back inside EPCOT, our underrated EPCOT drinks list has more of our favorites.
EPCOT Espresso Martini FAQs
Where can I get an espresso martini at EPCOT?
Four World Showcase restaurants have a basic espresso martini on their menus: Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, Tutto Italia Ristorante, and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Italy, and Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada. Tutto Gusto is our pick because you can ask to be seated in the cool cellar or take your drink to go.
How much is the espresso martini at Tutto Gusto?
It was $18 on Disney’s menus in October 2026, before tax and tip. Le Cellier’s was $16. Prices change often, so check the My Disney Experience app before you go.
Is the EPCOT espresso martini sweet?
Not very. It’s vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur, and espresso with no cream or added syrup. The liqueur gives it some sweetness, but it tastes more like coffee than dessert. Ask for simple syrup if you want it sweeter.
Is this Disney’s official recipe?
No. Disney lists the ingredients, not the measurements. This is the ratio we use at home, and the only thing it’s missing is the heat bouncing off all that stone in the Italy pavilion.
Can I make it creamy?
Yes. At the bar, ask for a splash of Irish cream. At home, you have two options. A splash of heavy cream or half-and-half makes it creamy without making it sweeter. A splash of Irish cream makes it creamy and more like dessert. Add either one to the shaker before you shake.
Can I make an espresso martini without an espresso machine?
Yes. Swap the espresso shot for one ounce of strong cold brew concentrate. The flavor holds up well, but you’ll get a thinner layer of foam on top.
Your Halfway Point, Bottled
Next time you hit Italy on a crawl, skip the outdoor wine kiosk for one stop. Step into Tutto Gusto, ask for a seat, and order the espresso martini. Sit in the cold for ten minutes. Then get back out there.
And when you’re home and missing it, you’ve got the recipe. Whistling optional.
If you’re planning the rest of the loop, our Drinking Around the World guide has the best pour in every pavilion. Our copycat recipes for the Moonshine Sour and Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea are two more EPCOT drinks you can make at home.
